*Thomas King's POV:

(This chapter takes place two days after Chapter 28)

"We should do what?!" Isabella yelled at me.

"I said, maybe we should move to another country or state or something" I said nervously as I began biting my nails. "I don't want to be responsible for two people's deaths."

Isabella wrapped her arm around me. She smiled passive-aggressively.

"Well guess what Thomas?! We aren't moving anywhere but into the nuclear shelter where it's safe. If police don't figure out who killed Mina, we should be okay."

Isabella took out the map that was in her pocket. She began reading it.

"What does it say Isabella?" Mr. Hernandez asked his daughter as me and the others gathered behind her to see the map.

"The place is in Northern California, a rural part where there isn't a lot of people. Great. That way, we don't have to worry about getting caught. Less people, less worries."

"Well, speaking of people...I have to let you guys know about something" Mrs. Mizuki announced. She was sitting on the couch, sniffling as she was wiping away tears. She had been crying for the last two days. But I didn't blame her, I was still trying to sink in the death of my younger sister Gaia and her friends myself.

"Yes?" my dad, Mr. King asked.

"I contacted many parents of experi-babies. I invited them and their children to stay with us in the nuclear shelter, where they will be safe from the extermination. It's the right thing to and I don't want-"

"Are you out of your mind?!" Mrs. Douglas scowled as she interrupted her, getting up from her chair. "Why would you invite them?! What if they invite even more people?!"

"Rachel, did you hear the size of that nuclear shelter? It is huge. There's nothing wrong with inviting parents of experi-babies and experi-babies themselves to the place. It's big enough for all of us" Mrs. Mizuki replied to Mrs. Douglas.

"How many did u invite? Did you tell them where the shelter was?" Mr. Hernandez asked her.

"I told about a hundred parents. But I told them that once I know about the location, I will get back to them. Because I am a very trusted person, they took my word for it. But now that I know it's in Northern California, I will aware them of it."

"Did you know about this?" Isabella calmly asked Mr. Hada.

"Yes. I invited some parents of experi-babies myself. I invited about two hundred of them" Mr. Hada hesitantly answered as he wrapped his arm around his wife.

"Yuzuru, Mizuki, what were you guys thinking?!" my mom, Mrs. King groaned as she shook her head.

"We can't just protect ourselves. That would be selfish. We need to lend a hand, that is part of being human. We shouldn't just let these experi-babies die in the hands of politicians. We must take them into hiding. That nuclear shelter is their only hope. I'm not asking for a billion people to join us. I told the fellow parents to only bring experi-babies."

"And then they are going to want to bring their brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and cousins. What will you do then?" my dad spoke up with a cocked eyebrow.

Mrs. Mizuki was silent for a few moments, not knowing how to respond or what to say.

"I don't know okay, I just don't know" she said in defeat.

"Guys, give her a break. She is trying to help people who are afraid of losing their child, and you criticizing her is not going to do any good" Mr. Hada said, defending his wife.
