It's been half an hour since we left the resort. Gin sitted on the door side of the van. I sitted between him and Myr. Habang si Myr naman ay di mapakali kung anong posisyon siya komportable sa pag-upo. She was moving a lot. Kaya napapadikit tuloy ako kay Gin. Ngumiti ako kay Gin ng nagkabangga ang mga balikat namin. "Sorry.." sabay lingon ko kay Myr. "Myr ano ba?" gigil kong sabi at tinaasan siya ng kilay at pasimpleng nginuso si Gin.
She yawned and ignored me. "I'm really exhausted. Pahiga ha.." At hindi na ako nakapalag pa dahil agad na siyang humiga sa pwesto niya. As I move closer to Gin dahil iniistretch niya talaga ang mga paa niya. Her feet was already on the side of my lap. Kaya ngayon magkadikit na talaga ang mga balat namin ni Gin. I heaved a sigh. Nilingon kong ulit si Gin. "Sorry.."
He smiled. "It's okay."
Ilang minuto pa ang nagdaan ay ramdam ko ring inaantok na ako. My neck started to get stiff because of our position kaya marahan akong umabante ng pagkakaupo para ibinat ang leeg ko. "Okay ka lang?" bulong ni Gin. "May neck pillow ka?" tanong ko.
Agad siyang lumingon sa likuran kong nasaan sila Ronan at ang dalawa pang staff. "May extra kayong neck pillow Ronan?"
Nang tinignan namin sila ay tila kanina pa sila nakatitig sa aming dalawa ni Gin. Were they listening the whole time? Nang napalingon din ako sa hawi ni Myr tila nagulat siya at mabilis na pumikit ulit. Anong nangyari dun?
"Neck pillow sir?" sabi ni Ronan at tinignan ang 4 na neck pillow nila. Agad namang nag-agawan ang tatlo. "Ah wala po Sir e."
"How about that one?" sabay turo ni Gin sa isang neck pillow. Mabilis naman 'tong hinablot ni Ronan. "Ah gagawin ko po kasi 'tong tanday sir." Humikab siya at sunod sunod ng naghikaban ang lahat. "Sige sir ha tulog na po kami.." And the three of them went to sleep. What's wrong with them? They're acting weird.
"Sorry." he sincerely said. "It's alright. Nagbasakali lang naman ako."
"You're sleepy?" Tumango ako. "Kinda."
Hinawakan niya ang kanyang kaliwang balikat. "Will this do?"
My eyes widened. "N-No.." I buckled. I clenched my fist as I took a breathe. My heart was throbbing. Bakit ba sa simpleng gestures niya ay naghuhumirintado na agad ang puso ko?!
Kailangan ko talagang aliwin ang sarili ko. Lalo na at magkatabi lang kami sa buong byahe. Kinuha ko ang aking cellphone at headset sa bag. I was scanning for my playlists as I attach the headset on my ear.
But almost of the passengers were sleeping. Baka ma bored siya. Baka gusto niya ring makinig ng music. "Ah gusto mo?" I hesitantly ask. Sabay angat ko sa isang headset.
"Okay lang?"
I nodded. Tinanggap niya ang kabilang headset at nilagay sa kanyang kaliwang tenga. I immediately pressed the shuffled songs on my playlist.

I'm starting to regret what I've done. Mas lalo tuloy akong nailang sa kanya. And the song... Ba't ito pa ang unang nag-play?! The level of awkwardness between us, is just too much to handle. I tried to glance at him to see his reaction. Nang napalingon din siya sa hawi ko. Ngumiti siya sa 'kin as I awkwardly laugh and look away from him.
Hindi na mapakali ang mga daliri ko sa screen ng aking cellphone. Gusto ko na talagang pindutin ang next song. Ang tagal naman matapos ng kanta. Nang sa wakas ay matapos na ang kanta ay nakahinga na ako ng maluwag.
A moment later I felt sleepy. I'll just rest my eyes for a little bit. Hindi niya rin naman siguro ako mapapansin. Pasimple ko siyang tinignan sa gilid ng aking mata. He seems distracted with the music. I flip my hair to my right side to cover my face. I'll take nap kahit 5 minutes lang.

"Aiah.." I softly called her attention. She was almost leaning forward at the back of the driver seat. Pero hindi niya ako sinagot. I tuckled some of her hair in her ear. I softly chuckled. She's asleep. I gently grab her and place her head on my shoulder. As I caressingly run my fingers through her hair.
Aiah, am I being annoying already?
I know I promised Myr that I'll take it slow. But, it's just too hard. I've waited too long for us, to be close like this again. You disappeared all of a sudden. There's a lot of things I wanted to ask you. There's so much I haven't been able to get straight in my mind. Marami pa akong gustong sabihin sa'yo. Kahit sobrang lapit na natin sa isa't-isa ay hindi ko pa rin masabi-sabi sa'yo. You just don't have any idea how much I'm holding back. Ayaw ko namang biglain ka. At baka ito pa ang maging dahilan para mawala ka na naman ulit sa 'kin. And I wouldn't want that to happen again. I know I'm being selfish here. But I hope you still give me a chance. I hope you still give us a chance. I hope it's still not too late for us.
When Myr has finally convinced you to sign with us, sobrang saya ko nun. Hindi mo lang alam. I didn't know at first how did she convinced you. Akala ko nga hindi ka talaga papayag. Ang sabi niya, siya na daw ang bahala. Not until, you told me at the elevator why. Natawa nga ako e. Baka kinasuklaman mo ako lalo nun. Magkaibigan nga talaga kayo.
When I saw you at the conference room that day, sobrang nag-pigil ako nun. I wanted to hug you right there. But I just couldn't. Hindi ako mapakali nun. The whole meeting ang nasa isip ko lang ay pigilan mo Gin.
