Chapter 23 - Forgiveness

"Sooo what are you wearing?" Ban smirked over the phone.

(Y/N) laughed "Seriously?" 

"Hey it's been three whole weeks!" he pouted while playing with the hem of his shirt.

She rolled her eyes "I'll only be gone one more week. You'll survive."

"What if I don't?" he whined.

"Then take care of it yourself" 

"Gladly, but I could use some assistance" He purred into phone.

She thought for a second before smirking. "Alright then" she said while quickly texting.

" Alright!" He grinned.

"I am going to kill you once you come home!" Ban yelled to a howling (Y/N) on the other line.

"Oh god!" She laughed.

"That was cruel even for you!" He hissed.

"Did they get a good look atleast?" She said while trying to regain her regular breathing.
She had texted the others saying that she believed that Ban wasn't feeling well and didn't want to bother the others. So Elizabeth, Diane and King had gone upstairs to check on him thinking he was sleeping only to walk in on him.

"Yes, but that's beside the point!" 

"Oh come on babe I just wanted to brag a little" She said sweetly.

He pouted in silence for a second before responding. "You do know I will get you back for this?" 

"Lucky me then that my work was extended for another month" She smiled

"What?!.. Wait so all of this was a way for you to break the news that you're staying longer?!" 

"Oh dear they're calling for me, got to go! Love you byeee!" She hung up the phone.

He sighed and rubbed his face "Damn that woman" but there was an evident smile on his lips.

It's been three years since she returned to her normal self and he was getting used to the normal life. He did miss the good old days where they fought battles and saved kingdoms. 
But that was mostly because it was the only thing he knew.

Being a singer, having his friends close and living with the love of his life was everything he never knew he really wanted or ever needed. 

Meliodas, Elizabeth, Diane and King decided they wanted everyone to live together but after they couldn't find a house they wanted they decided to have the perfect house built. It took two years for it to be built and forever before everyone agreed on the interior design, but it was perfect.

It was a big house where everyone had a room of their own and two bathrooms each while having a big kitchen and common room in the middle where they could hang out.
Since everyone shared a room they kept their extra rooms as guest rooms in the meantime.

The garden was huge and (Y/N) insisted on having a cherry blossom tree and a gazebo in the middle while Ban wanted a pool. The others didn't care either way but they agreed on having the road leading to the main road to look like the old one. So they had cherryblossom trees planted along the whole way.

Merlin and Escanor stayed in England and eventually moved in together but they visited as often as they could while Gowther liked the life on the road. Whenever he had time he prefered to visit Merlin, but he still visited the others every now and then.
