"We have the list of heroes and agencies that are interested in internships with each of you." Shota announces, handing each of you your paper, skipping over you. You glance up at him, eyeing him wearily. "Akemi, your little stunt has earned you a place doing night patrols with me." Sighing heavily you place your head on your hands, dreading what's to come. Everyone starts discussing where they want to go, some of them not having many options while people like Katsuki and Todoroki having endless options. You glance over at Katsuki's paper. "Which one are you thinking?"
"Best Jeanist I guess, he's the best Pro Hero on here." Katsuki states, nodding at his decision. "You have the night to look it over and decide, if you need anything go to any of the teachers for help..." Shota takes out his sleeping bag, inching away, "except for me. I'll be napping. Class is dismissed." Everyone gets up and you follow Katsuki out, heading to his place. "Best Jeanist is pretty far from here, huh..." You kick a rock as you walk, looking at the ground glumly. "Oi, it's only for a week, moron." Katsuki says, but you can tell his tone is a little down too.
-2 days later-
"I, um, I'll miss you..." You and Katsuki are standing at the train station, your classmates having already left. He hits you on the head with his fist. "Don't look so sad, shitty girl." You knew that was his way of saying he'd miss you too. Throwing your arms around him you hold back tears, then stare at him with determination. "Let's do our best, Katsuki!!" He stares at you wide eyed, a pink blush brushing his cheeks. "Y-yeah, whatever... Just stay safe." He leans in to give you a quick kiss, then heads off on the train. You stand there waving until it's gone. "Now that you're done macking down, let's get down to business." Shota says as you nearly jump out of your skin, forgetting that he was still there.
"Go home and get suited up, we start patrols in an hour." You glance down at your phone, seeing it's 7pm. "But dad, that's bed time-" "Not this week it isn't." He grins evilly at you, "Welcome to Underground Heroism, my dear daughter."
-4am, downtown-
You sigh dully, barely being able to move one foot in front of the other. "Are we... Almost.... Done...?" You breath out, jogging to keep up with your dad. He had been leading you through the dark alleys of the city all night, catching the occasional criminal. You hadn't realized how much work it was to be stealthy for so long, and you wondered how your dad did it, every single day. "Well, usually I would head home around now..." You give him a delighted smile. "BUT since there isn't any school this week due to internships, we have at least 4 more hours until the sun is fully up!" You fall flat on your face, crying at the thought of having to keep this up for that much longer. "Come on, keep up!" He laughs wickedly, running ahead of you.
You get up slowly, getting ready to sprint to try to catch up to him, when suddenly you feel a hand wrap around your neck. "Don't move." A low voice whispers in your ear. You freeze, becoming rigid as dry, flaky fingers wrap around tighter. "W-what do you want?" You stammer, trying to calm yourself down as best as you could. "A simple message from Juno Moon." Another hand slips a piece of paper into your pocket. "Oh, and don't mention this to Eraserhead. You wouldn't want anything to happen to your precious father, now would you?" The hand around your neck disappears abruptly, leaving you to sink to your knees, pulling out the piece of paper quickly.
"It's time for you to take your place at my side, I'll be coming for you soon, my dear daughter. Remember not to say anything, unless you don't care about Eraserhead's well being.
