"I've been waiting for you for ages, what were you doing?" asked Jane as Uta approached the table. He could tell that she was fidgety already and was worried about Amber. However, what brought anxiety was what he knew, what Yomo was expecting him to do.

"Uta? Are you okay?" She questioned,

"I'm fine, great even. I just saw someone I knew" he explained with a quick smile.

"That's nice. How long has it been since you'd seen them?",

"Only a little while. We're normally close though",

"Well, I would love to meet them one day, possibly speak to them. But, I think I should be getting home".

At those few words, Uta's heart fell into his stomach.

"Maybe there's something else to do. Anything you want" Uta was trying to stall desperately. He knew when she got to that apartment he would have to do it for real, it wouldn't be one of his twisted fantasies, despite how sweet she smelt.

"You know I have to get back. My sister will be worried",

"But can't you just-",

"I can always walk home alone, defenceless... In the fourth Ward might I add".

She twisted him to her desire. She played at his heartstrings until they snapped. Jane was anything but good for Uta and he was just as dangerous, even more in fact. Yet, he couldn't pull himself from the intoxication she had forced him under. While they walked back to her apartment, an unconscious smile plagued her features, making him realise how different she actually was. Jane's double eyelid made her eyes big and open to see those hazel orbs. Her pale flesh also appeared attractive against her freckles and dark beauty spots, they made up constellations across the white canvas of her skin.

"We're here!" She suddenly cheered, dragging Uta from his thoughts.

"Already?" He questioned,

"Yeah, I don't exactly live far. So we've got half an hour to ourselves. Would you like to come in?",

Uta was silent as he remembered Renji's words, you do know I'm just looking out for us, right?

"Sure, wouldn't mind seeing your room" and at her quiet giggle, she escorted him inside, away from the eyes of the world.

"It's not the best cup of coffee. But it's the best I could do" Jane announced once placing it before him.

From what she could tell, Uta was for some reason nervous. Thus, making her fiddle with her hands, rubbing them while fidgeting her fingers.

"Are you okay? Is it really toxic waste?" She chuckled, trying to lighten the mood with no success. All she was receiving from him was a dark aura that swarmed her body, sprouting goosebumps across her flesh. He was taking a deep breath through his nose, his hair seemed to stand on end as he indulged in her attractive scent. He was starving. However, he snapped his eyes open with the realisation of where he was. Uta was leaning across the table, his face inches from his own while his mouth watered.

"Uta?", he quickly rose from the chair, ripples expanding against the coffee's dark liquid as she trembled in her seat.

"I... I have to go" he rushed out,

"What do you mean you have to go? We just got here? Is there something wrong?" Jane was bombarding him with questions as she followed him to the front door.

"Just leave it, I'll see you soon",

"Tomorrow?" She suddenly asked to have him stop in his tracks and look back at her...

"Not this time... I have plans tomorrow. Another time".

"Yeah... Another time".

"He just went?" Akira asked in English, hoping it would help her in the future.

"Yes, he's never done that before",

"Maybe he was nervous being at your... House alone",

"But, he looked as if he was going to kiss me",

"What makes you think that?" she drawled, making odd facial expressions to recall the words as she spoke.

"He was leaning in I think, he was so close to my face",

"I guess he got just nervous then" she said,

"I think so. But, it doesn't explain why he didn't walk me to school this morning. It felt strange not having him there",

"Give it time, boys get over it in their own way",

"I hope so".
