Renjun pulls up to the house that was covered in black and yellow police tape. There were people moving in and out of it and from where the brunette sat it looked like total chaos.

He gets out of his car and locks it before slowly approaching the busy house. His camera swung on it's strap around his neck with each step he took.

"Good morning Renjun" a voice says from beind him and he turns around with a smile.

"Hey sir" he says timidly with a bow as he starts to walk side by side with the man. He had light brown hair and beautiful dimples that appeared even when he didn't smile.

"How many times do I have to tell you, call me Jaehyun" he nudges the younger boy slightly only to earn a small giggle.

"It feels weird though, your my boss".
Jaehyun was the head of this case and had asked Renjun specifically to take photos for evidence. The brunette was by far the best forensic photographer in the area and would do a brilliant job on this case.

"Anyway, you didn't explain to me fully what happened here" he says watching how Jaehyun's expression instantly turns serious. It was crazy how he could to that so quickly.

"A twenty year old man and his sister were attacked late last night, the girl suffered serious stab wounds to the stomach and is currently in hospital, the man was a little more lucky and got away with only a stab wound to his left thigh. The person who caused this mess is still on the run" he explains and Renjun feels his eyes widen slightly.

"Woah, this is the most serious case we've had in weeks" the photographer states only to earn a nod from his boss.

"Yup, which is why we need you to take the best pictures you can for the evidence department...follow me" he nods in the direction of the stair case and walks up them.

They stand in the open doorway and Renjun's jaw drops. Blood soaked the messy white bed sheets, a phone lay on the floor smashed to pieces and there were a few blood splatters on the floor.

"Damn" he breathes, still trying to take the whole scene in.

"I know, it's awful, go do your thing I'll wait for you downstairs" he gives Renjun a small pat on the back before turning and leaving.

Renjun makes his way into the room and gets to work. He takes photos of the most obvious things first like the bed sheets and the phone, he also takes a few pictures of the half opened closet finding it rather odd.

His eyes scan the room looking for any sort of footprints or markings that could have been left by the intruder but sadly he could find none. After a few more clicks of his camera he leaves the room with a defeated sigh. He should have found more.

Renjun makes his way back downstairs and looks through the pictures on the camera, making sure they had all come out relatively clear and of a good enough quality to be used in evidence.

"Renjun! We need you in here" the brunette quickly shuts off the camera and makes his way over to the kitchen.

"Would you get some pictures of the broken lock on the backdoor? And there is a dent in the wooden floor could you snap a few pictures of that too, it may not be related to the case but we can never be too sure" Jaehyun says only to earn a nod.

As Jaehyun walks away he spots a familiar redhead and mentally groans.

"Hey!" The boy says and Renjun slaps a smile onto his face and tries to act nice.

"Hey Donghyuck" he says in fake cheerfulness as he makes his way over to the backdoor to get some pictures of the lock.

Donghyuck has worked with the police for a couple of years but he was so annoying sometimes,an Renjun always seems to get stuck with him on pretty much every case.

"Are you here to take pictures of the crime scene?" The redhead asks and Renjun raises a brow.
Was this guy stupid?

"Well that is my job" he replies as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

"Oh right yeh" he laughs loudly and the older boy grimaces slightly. This guy was so damn irritating.
"Guess we're going to be partners in crime, yet again!" He says cheerfully but Renjun was too busy trying to snap the best pictures.

"That's great" he mumbles, ignoring the pout that made it's way onto Donghyuck's face.

"Wow no need to sound to exited" the tone in his voice turned sassy and Renjun wanted to kick the guy out of the room. Sometimes they got along fine, but then there were times like this when he was nothing but a total distraction.

"I'm sorry hyuck, I'm just trying to do my job" Renjun sighs but the younger boy just turns and struts away.

"I'll see you at the station" he calls back and the brunette just rolls his eyes before taking a few pictures of the dented floorboards, running his soft fingers over the smooth surface to see how deep it was.

One he knew he had more than enough he began to search for Jaehyun once again.

"Oh hyung, is there anything else you would like photos of?" He asks only to earn a head shake.

"No that's all we need for now, if we find anything else I will call you to come back, for now you can go and develop the ones you have already taken" the older boy explains and gives the brunette a smile, dimples on show.

Renjun only nods before leaving the house and making his way back to his car. He carefully placed his camera back into it's case before turning on the engine and heading for the police station but not before taking one last look at the chaotic house.
