'Why did you left without us?'

'It's Luke's fault..'

'Why? What happened?'

'It's a long story..'

'Is it his Mum?'

'No..'

"HEY LET'S GO!" Calum shouted from the living room.

'Joyce, I'll call you later.'

'Sure..'

And then I ended. I ran hurriedly.downstairs and saw Calum pulling my luggage out of the house that had gotten to be broken by itself.

"Sorry, I broke the wheel.." He said arching his back as he pulls his backpack on.

"We can't just leave.."

"We'll drop by at her work."

"Good.."

"Now can you help me now?"

And I just smiled as I grabbed my luggage in his hand.

"Did something happened between you and Luke?"

"We had into an argument and ended on breaking up." Miranda sighed as she sat down on the table nibbling her uniform.

"Why? What happened?" I shouted, slapping the table with my hand. I noticed everyone in the cafe's looking at me so I leaned down forward to Miranda.

"He keeps on texting other girls.." She looked at me and Calum who's happening beside me sipping at his Latte. "I'll get over it- I wish."

"Oh sorry about to hear that." I looked at Calum. "And sorry if it's ending this way..."

"Luke's being a dick and I apologize for that. But we're still your friends." Calum added as he planted a small peck on her cheeks. "But we have to go now.."

"Oh yeah.." Miranda smiled. "By the way thanks for everything."

"Thank you too, Mir." I said as we all stood up at our seats. "Let's keep in touch."

It's a 9 hour-drive for us. Thank God, Mali had been a lifesaver. She's in Melbourne with her boyfriend, Bill. She let Calum borrowed her mini cooper for us to get back on Sydney before my parents got home after their two week stay at Germany.

"Hey, why are you so quiet?" Calum said, still looking at the road.

After we got off at Miranda's work, I'm not saying a word at Calum. I know I'm not supposed to feel this. And Miranda's all good and stuffs. But when Calum kissed her on the cheeks, it's seems not right.

"Hey.." He said as he touched my left thigh.

I looked the view outside saying, "Don't touch me.."

I pulled his hand off my thigh as I rolled my eyes on him. He started to laughed at me, "Haha why are you acting like that?"

"Luke's being a dick blah blah blah" I mimicked his voice. "But we're still your friends.."

"Why do you have to kiss her? It's just nonsense." I sighed. "Whatever."

I crossed my arms over my chest as I look away from him.

"Are you jealous?" He grinned as he bit his lower lip. Don't you dare make that face-

"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?" I shouted but more like in a defensive way. "I am not."

"Oh really? And why are you acting like that?"

"I'm just concerned at Miranda because she might hurt herself at you.."

"Huh why? She seems very nice."

"Don't you even dare look at other girls.." I said pointing out a finger on him.

He caught it as he hold my hands while driving. Omg

"Why? I'm not even your boyfriend." He argued as he pout his face. "Am I?"

"NO-" I said loud enough.

"Fine. Then I'll go call Miranda right now." He said, scrolling at her number on his contacts.

I grabbed his phone yelling, "NO!!!"

"Oh? Why? You just said that I'm not your boyfriend.."

"You told me you like me.." I mumbled as gave him a sad face.

"and I think-" I looked at him and he's staring at me.

"You think?"

Calum's POV:

"You think?"

I'm so eager to know what she wants to say. Does she likes me too? I've been wanting this for my whole life.

She looked at me she let out a deep breath. I drive slowly as I wanna listen to her.

She closed his eyes, both hands clenching. "I think I like you.."

She finally said it.

"So doncha ever think on kissing girls whether it's on the lips or even at the cheeks, young man." She ordered as she pointed out his pointing finger on me.

I grabbed her finger as I bit it saying, "You're my one and only..." I said as I gave her an exaggerated wink with matching opening of the mouth.

"You look ridiculous when you do that.."

Sge rolled her eyes on me. I'm so used with her like that but I'm so happy now that she likes me back.

I stared at her for a long time. I didn't notice that something's on the way, I immediately turned the wheels over to the right and straightly forward to the sideway.

"What was that?"

"Fallen rocks." I stated. "It happens all the time."

"This is hopeless.." Calum said as he slapped his hands on the driving wheel.

"How are we going to get home?" I said sounding nervous. "Let's call for help."

"There's no reception here.." He said. "We have to get going and find a hotel before it gets dark."

It's nearly sunset and it's a long road in both ends. I don't know where we could find a hotel at the moment.

Calum started to walk and so I followed him. "I know we had passed a hotel somewhere."

"You sure?"

"Yeah..faster!"
