I BRUSHED OFF MY clothing, getting up from my seat.

i exited the cafeteria looking for nolan, texting him, he told me he'd be by his locker located by stairwell C.

i made my way to where his locker was, passing by multiple students crowding the halls.

from afar i spotted his dark brown hair, walking up to him tapping his shoulder lightly.

"hey!" he turned around upon hearing my voice.

his ocean blue eyes prominent, boring into mine with a big smile on his face.

"hey serina! long time no talk. grayson let you know i'm guessing?" he says closing his locker behind him leaning against it.

"yeah, he did just now, and since i wasn't doing anything important i thought id look for you, so what was it that you wanted to ask?"

"eager are we?" he says his smile forming upwards into a smirk.

"or i could just leave." i say taking a few steps backwards turning around to point towards the direction behind me.

"no wait listen." he says grabbing my arm holding onto it.

"what i've been meaning to ask was, i know we haven't hung out in a while but i thought id reach out, you busy saturday?" he says nervously.

"not that i know of, what's on your mind?" i say.

my weekends consisted of hanging out with the twins, emma and hailey.

clearly we were inseparable and did everything together.

"well, i wanted to ask you on a date." he says confidently, feeling him towering over me with his tall figure as he removed himself from the leaning position.

surprised, i nervously look up at him with a smile. tucking a piece of lose hair across my face behind my ear i nod biting my rosy lips.

"id love to." grinning, a shade of crimson made its way up to my face feeling the heat radiating off me.

"cool, ill text you then?" he says barely above a whisper, due to the close proximity between us.

"yeah." i mumble clutching the straps to my bag, playing with it. looking down, he walks away from me, feeling the smile remain on my face.

turning away i was about to head back towards the cafeteria when im met with ethans lingering stare from a distance.

rolling my eyes, i walk up to where he stood.

"what?" i say with a sigh, walking back in the direction of the cafeteria, feeling his presence behind follow me.

"what'd he have to ask you?" ethan says stopping me by grabbing my arm lightly.

he pulled me to the side, crossing his arms. an intimidating look washing over his face, awaiting my response.

"he was just asking to hang out, we done here?" i say turning back to be grabbed again.
