a week and a half later

IT WAS FINALLY THE start of christmas break.

the winter season slowly making its way into the air, with the smell of gingerbread, and the happy faces of all those across the city.

all of us were getting into the winter spirit as we had on our favourite sweaters.

it was a gloomy afternoon the first day of christmas break as we had just gotten out of school.

my head rested on ethan's chest, reruns of teen wolf playing across the screen in front of us, while grayson and emma sat on the left of us.

i looked up at ethan to see him already have his eyes on me with a smile playing on his face.

he leaned in kissing my forehead softly, whispering. "i love you."

"i love you." i say back with a gigantic smile on my face.

i leaned in to kiss his lips, him bringing me back to his face to peck my lips repeatedly.

i let out a laugh throwing my head back as he peppered me with kisses.

"ew can you guys like not? im trying to watch here." emma says throwing her snacks at us.

"uh yeah, gross, i definitely do not want to see that." grayson says.

ethan lets out a laugh pulling his face away from me to bring me back in his arms.

the past week or two we've been inseparable, it was different being a couple, he did officially ask me to be his just a week before.

everything was different and i couldn't be happier.

"i think i preferred it when y'all weren't shoving your tongues in each other's throats every two seconds" grayson says speaking up again.

i laugh kicking his shoulder, as he dramatically yells. "shut up."

-

that night the four of us were sprawled along my room eating pizza and just talking.

"are all of you staying over tonight?" i say taking a bite of my fourth slice that night.

"yup." they all say in unison munching on their food.

"damn how much you gonna eat, im so full." emma groans towards me laying across the bed.

i roll my eyes shoving her and continued to eat unbothered.

we were all talking and watching tv when we heard the sound of the door ringing.

they looked at me confused, grayson eyeing the window to try and get a glimpse of who was at the front door.

it was quite late by now, almost ten, since my parents were already in bed.

"can't see anything from here." he sighs moving back to the spot he sat in.

"who could it be at his time, i mean it's half past nine." ethan says.
