chapter twenty five - "don't be gone too long"

ETHAN, EMMA, AND GRAYSON stood by the door in shock looking at the two of us.

"what the fuck?" ethan mutters out.

he was fuming, you could tell how angered he was when i felt my heart jump at the tone of his voice.

"why is this assclown here and why were you kissing him?" he says, his voice cracking at the last few words he said.

"ethan-" i started.

"oh look if isn't ethan dolan." matt says walking up to ethan.

"don't you dare touch her again." ethan rasps out holding himself back.

he towered over matt as he was slightly taller than him by a few inches.

"guy's stop." i say coming in between them.

"oh so you guys are dating now?" he says with crossed arms.

"you didn't even tell him we were together?" he says hurt written all over his face.

"how could you have if you were swapping spit with him." he scoffs.

"i can't deal with this, im leaving." he walks out the door, grayson hot on his trail.

"ethan please." i pleaded running close behind to catch his arm.

"let me explain." i say, tears blurring my vision.

he looked up biting his lip to prevent it from trembling.  

he avoided eye contact with me looking everywhere but my eyes, pulling away from my grasp. "i need time serina." 

"maybe us getting into a relationship so quick was a bad idea." he managed to get out from shaky breaths.

i wanted to break down right there and then, everything that took place the past ten minutes was all a misunderstanding.

before i could say or do anything else he walks away from me, grayson blocking my path shaking his head so i wouldn't do anything.

i backed away from serina, tears stained across her face, continuing to roll down.

i rushed after ethan before he could drive off. i grab the keys from his hands pulling him back from the drivers side.

he wasn't in the right state of mind to drive so i guided him to the passengers side of the car.

i put him inside and going to the drivers seat to take him home.

i really felt for him. he didn't deserve it, even thought we didn't know serina's take on the situation yet i couldn't help but console my brother.

i needed to be there for him, no matter what. i hated seeing him like this. especially after what hailey did.

it was just a repeat of it. how could serina do this. it just wasn't like her to do something so irrational.
