serina

friday

THE REST OF THE NIGHT ethan and i stayed up, despite the fact we still had school in the morning.

without a care we goofed around and had fun like old times. times like these were the days i missed.

that morning i laugh thinking about last night.

"serina." ethan whispers from the other side of the bed.

"what?" i whisper back.

"im hungry." he says exasperatedly.

"me too." i say turning around to face him.

"do we still have some snacks left from the bag you brought earlier." i say looking at the ground to see wrapped scattered throughout the floor.

"no your fatass ate it all." ethan says playfully angered.

"um excuse me, don't act like you didn't eat most of it." i say matter of factly.

with a roll of my eyes i push him off the bed as he lands with a thud.

i cover my mouth with my hand to prevent laughter from spilling out, watching him groan quietly.

"wait, wait, sh." i say trying to make him stay quiet, i got up from the bed making my way closer to the door to hear better.

"what?" ethan says.

i flail my arms to indicate to him to be quiet while i listened in carefully. my eyes widened hearing footsteps nearing my door.

frantically i run towards ethan pushing him on the bed.

he slightly tripped on his own feet while i pushed passed him in a hurry as i got to my side trying to hide my laughter.

after a few seconds the door opened abruptly.

assuming it was one of my parents to make sure we were asleep, we pretended to sleep.

once the door closed ethan and i couldn't help but start laughing silently.

i leaned onto him trying to catch my breath from laughing so hard, falling onto him.

my forehead clashed into his, immediately bringing my hand up to my forehead in pain.

"ow." i muttered. it was silent again.

his hands remained on my hips. both of our faces closer than it should be.

i looked at his plump lips as he licked them. if only i could've just tasted them.

as tempted as i was, i couldn't.

"we should sleep it's almost three am." i say awkwardly going back to my side, both of us remaining silent.
