Bruno's POV: It's the 4th of July, and I gonna have all of my friends and family over for a barbecue and pool party. I already invited everyone like 4 or 5 weeks ago and asked Phill to help me barbecue. I was making sure that everything was in place for the party.
Just on cue, the doorbell rang, and everyone I invited went straight to the backyard and Phill brought a lot of meat. And he brought, along with his family, a beautiful woman with curly brown hair, chocolate brown skin, and hazelnut brown eyes who was holding the fireworks for tonight. I was completely looking at her for so long, that Phill had to slap me. "Ow! Nigga, What was that for?" I asked. "Nigga, you supposed to be seasoning the meat! You too busy staring at my sister-in-law, (YN)! You like her, do you?" He asked as we put the meat on the grill. "Hell yes! She's so beautiful," I said looking at her in her swimsuit.

"Well, if you want, I can bring her over here for y'all to talk?" He suggested as I nodded rapidly. He laughed and called her over. "Yo! (YN)! I got someone who I want you to meet." She walked out of the pool and it felt like she was walking in slow motion. "Hey man! What's up?" she said doing her handshake with Phill. Even her sounded like heaven. "(YN), this is my best friend, Bruno," He said snapping me out of my daze. "Hi!" She said holding her arms out. "Hey," I said trying to keep my cool, and hugging her back.
"Well, I'm gonna leave you two to it. Have fun," Phill said walking away from us. We talked for hours until it was time to set off the fireworks. "Hey, do you wanna go on a date with me Friday night, (YN)," I asked hoping she'll say yes. "Oh, I can't, I already have plans that night," she said making me a little disappointed, "but, I'm free Saturday night if that works." My eyes lit up as soon as she said that and nodded my head yes. "Great, until then, Mr. Mars," she said writing her number on my hand and kissing my cheek as she walked away.
After that we got together, and after a couple of years we got married. To think we got together on 4th of July.
