Jennifer's POV: I was running through the forest away from some scientists who were after me for my powers. "There she is!! Get her!!" A scientist yelled as I ran faster until I lost them. "Can this day get any worse?!" I whispered-yelled to myself as I started climbing a tall tree. As I reached the top, I saw a house in the distance with the lights on. The scientists are after me because I'm a hybrid; half human, and half cat. I've always been careful when I have to go outside in the world but today, I am just having the worst luck ever.
I looked down to make sure that the coast was clear, and jumped down from the tree. I started running again and then I saw some white lights behind me. "You can't run forever, Jennifer Raymond!" Another scientist said as I looked back which was a mistake. When I looked back, I tripped over a tree root that was sticking out of the ground and twisted my ankle. I tried to run, but I couldn't because of the pain.
"Help! Someone help me!!" I screamed out loud as I held my ankle. I heard some rustling but I didn't see where it came from. "Let us help you, Jennifer," a scientist said looking over me. Before he could grab me, I scratched him with my claws and started limping away from them as fast as I could. I kept limping until I fell down and they were surrounding me. And just as I was about to give up all hope, a shadowy figure started attacking the scientists. When the shadowy figure was done with the scientists, he came to my side, picked me up, and looked right into my eyes as he said, "It's okay. I got you. You're safe now, sweetheart."
He was attractive and really strong. I held on to him tightly as he started running to his house. As we entered his house, I saw 8 other guys there with concerned faces. "Bruno, who's this?" The bald head guy asked him as Bruno sat me down on the couch. "Relax, Phill. She's just like us. Kameron, go get me an ice pack. What's your name, sweetie?" He asked me showing off his cute smile. "J-Jennifer," I stuttered as Kameron gave Bruno an ice pack and put it on my ankle.
"Hey, it's okay. We're not gonna hurt you. I'm Bruno and these guys are my friends and we're known as the Hooligans. That's Phill, Kameron, Dwayne, Eric, Phred, Jamareo, John, and James," Bruno said introducing me to everyone who was in the room. "Why were they chasing you?" Kameron asked me as I started warming up to them. "Because of this," I said as I shifted into my cat form.

"I'm half cat, half human," I said as Bruno picks me up and sits down. "Well, you are safe with us, Jennifer," Bruno said as I cuddled closer towards him getting comfortable. "Why did you save me?" I asked him in my cat voice. "Because all of us are hybrids, and I wanted to, Jennifer," Bruno said as they all, except for Bruno, shifted into their animal forms.
"I'm half monkey," Kameron said as he was swinging from the ceiling.
"I'm half dog," James said before he started chasing his own tail.
"I'm half panda," Eric said as he sat on the other couch.
"I'm half tiger," Jamareo said as he looks out the windows to see if those scientists didn't follow me.
