Kaniyah's POV: I woke up with the sunshine on my face and seeing my sleeping boyfriend for 2 years. I just cuddled with him a little bit longer before going to take a shower. As I was taking my shower and thinking about Bruno and I, our relationship, I started to have a melody in my head.
As I dried off and put my clothes on, I went downstairs to make Bruno's favorite breakfast. This week is all about him. "Hey, babygirl," he said in his deep sleep voice that just gave me chills.
"Hey," I said kissing him, "I'm making your favorite breakfast, Daddy." He wrapped his arms around me and put his head in the crook of my neck. "Oh, really? Pancakes, bacon, eggs, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with orange juice? Is today a special occasion or do you want something? Or is it a third thing I can't think of?" He asked looking at me.
"No, no, and yes. I just wanna show you how much I love you and appreciate you. So, this whole week will be all about you," I said fixing his plate. "Aww, thank you bae, but why does it have to be all about me? What about you?" He said grabbing my waist pulling me closer to himself. "Can't a girl do something special for her man?" I said hugging him and putting his plate down on the table. "Oh, Okay. But I'm gonna do something special for you next week," he said sitting down and eating his food.
"Okay, I'll be back. I'm going to the studio. See ya, Bruno," I said grabbing my keys and purse. "See ya, baby!" He yelled as I left. After 15 minutes of driving I met with my 2 best friends, Queen Naija and Clarence.

"Hey Queen and Clare," I said hugging them. "Hey Niyah! What's up!" Queen said as I grabbed my songbook and wrote a song for Bruno. "I wanna make a song for Bruno to preform at our party this Friday," I said. Listen, before Bruno came in my life, I have had my heart broken a lot of times before by niggas who either wanted me for my body, my money, or was a cheater. And Bruno and I were talking as friends at first, and then after, like, 5 dates, I knew that he really loves me.
"Really? What are you calling the song?" Clarence asked me. "I'm gonna call it 'Butterflies' only because every time I'm with Bruno, think about Bruno, or even hear Bruno's voice; he gives me butterflies," I said writing the lyrics down. "Aww! Well, I'm gonna help you with the melody," Queen said going to the soundboard.
Time Skip To Friday Night's Party
Bruno's POV: "Hey, Brunz," Phill said as everyone came in the backyard for the bbq/pool party. "Hey, man!" I said dapping with him. "Dude! How did you get this jacket?" He asked looking at my new golden Gucci jacket.

"Kaniyah got me this jacket yesterday and she said that she has a special surprise for me, and I don't know what she has in store for me," I said as we walked to the stage that Kaniyah rented for the party. My babygirl went all out.
"Damn, does she want some kids?" He asked me laughing as her brothers, Ar'mon and Trey, went on the stage. "Hey y'all!" Ar'mon said as everyone cheered for them. "Okay, y'all our little sister, Kaniyah, wanted to preform her very own and first song in front of everybody and she's dedicating this song to her man, Mr. Bruno Mars! So, here we present to y'all Kaniyah Raymond with 'Butterflies'!" Trey said as we cheered for her and she walked out on the stage looking like a golden goddess.

"Hi everyone, I just wanna say something before I sing this song. Bruno, I love you so much and every single time I'm with you, thinking about you, or if I hear your angelic voice, I really do get butterflies in my stomach," she said as everyone aww'ed and I started blushing.

At this point, I was just stunned by the fact that Kaniyah wrote a song for me and its usually me writing songs for her.

I was grabbed by Kaniyah's brothers, and they put me on stage with her and sat me down in a chair.

We started slow dancing to the song and I grabbed her by the waist and dipped her as she grabbed me tightly by the neck holding on for dear life.

I lifted her back up to her feet and she said the three words that I've been longing for her to say, "I love you." After she said that, I kissed her in front of all of our friends and family as they cheered for us. "I love you too, babygirl," I said pulling away from her. After the party, I might have put something in Kaniyah to show her my appreciation. And trust me, it was big, but it wasn't butterflies. 😏😇
