Bruno The Bully

Kaniyah's POV:
"Sweetie, It's time for school," My mom said as I walked into the kitchen with my book-bag and my nerdy outfit on. "Mom, do I have to go to school? Why can't I just stay home with you?" I asked her as she passed me my lunch and lunch money. "Because you are a principal list student and your perfect attendance will not be messed up. Why do you want to stay at home?" She asked me while we got in the car. "Because I just don't wanna go," I said not telling her the whole truth about school. The real reason is because of Peter Hernandez, formally known as Bruno in my school. He's my bully and I try to avoid him, but he always finds me. He teases me on everything about me: the way I talk, the way I dress, my smarts, my braces, and on my body. I wanted to stay at home just to avoid him, but it's not going to happen because of my mother.

"All I'm saying is that your education is important to me and I want you to get into the best college in the country. Just keep your head in the books and nobody will mess with you, but remember to live your life the way you want to. And if anyone is messing with you, show them your tough side, and if you get suspended for sticking up for yourself then I won't get mad," She said as I kissed her cheek goodbye and left for school. "See ya, Mom! Love Ya!" I said running towards the school doors. "Love you too!" She yelled as I walked into the gym and sat by myself since my 3 friends weren't here. While I was waiting on the bell to ring, I started to draw in my sketchbook about me being a popular girl.

I felt someone snatch my sketchbook from me and it was Bruno and his friends. "Oh! What's this? The little nerdy four eyes is drawing herself as a popular girl? Pathetic!" Phill said tearing out the paper with the drawing and ripping it to pieces in front of my face. "You'll never be popular, Kaniyah. Just face it, you're nothing but a nerdy geeky freak of a girl who knows her place in the world," Bruno said as I grabbed all of my stuff and ran away from them. I made sure that nobody followed me as I ran to my favorite place in the school to relax and to avoid Bruno and his jerk crew: the roof of the school.

"Daddy, What would you do if you had bullies who won't leave you alone? Can't they just see that I've suffered enough because of them? I really miss you, and your advice on life. The guy that I like is bullying me and I don't know what to do. I wish that I had enough confidence to make them leave me alone. Thanks for listening, Daddy. I love you, and I know you love me too," I said talking to the sky while sketching me when I was little and my dad together hugging. I'm so glad that it's Friday.
