Jennifer's POV: "Jennifer Eleanor Lyon! Get your ass in here!" My mom, Cookie Lyon, yelled from the living room. What the hell did I do this time? I thought as I walked in the living room where my three older brothers, Andre, Jamal, Hakeem, and my father, Lucious Lyon, were sitting on the couch with my mother. "Yeah, Momma?" I asked while leaning against the door frame. "Girl, didn't you hear me when I said that I was calling a damn family meeting?" She asked me while she put her hands on her hips. No, because didn't you hear me when I said that I want nothing to do with this damn Kingsley man? I thought as I said nothing and sat down beside Hakeem. "No, Momma. I'm sorry, I was on the phone with Bruno," I said texting him back with a laugh emoji. 😆
Bruno and I have been best friends ever since my parents threw me that graduation party and he was been texting me and calling me like crazy. I kinda have a big crush on him ever since I heard his music. "Bruno Mars? You have to be careful when it comes to older guys, Jennifer. Most older guys are just looking for one thing, and it's not love or a relationship with a young woman like yourself," My dad said sipping on his drink. "Bruno's not like that, Dad. Besides, he already has a girlfriend anyway, and I'm not that interested into him," I said putting my phone away and completely lying.
"Well that's too bad because he doesn't have a girlfriend anymore," Andre said catching my attention. "Say what, now?" I asking him to repeat what he just said. "Yeah, Bruno broke up with Jessica yesterday. It's all over the news," Jamal said as I checked the news on my phone.

I was beyond happy to find out that he broke up with that woman who was only using him.
2 Weeks Later
"Oh, my, god. I'll be right back!" I said running away from a game that me, Andre, and Jamal were playing, back to my room and getting ready to see Bruno. He just texted me saying that he was coming over here to see my dad about a record that he's doing with my dad.

After I got dressed, I went to my momma in the living room and asked her, "Mom, do I look good in this?"
"Oh, you look more than good, girl! You look like a goddess!" She said as I started laughing. "Oooh, who's this baddie in the living room with Momma?" I heard Hakeem ask as I turned around towards him. "Your young sister, fool! Damn, Jennifer! You got Keem thinking that you were someone else? Who's mans you trying to steal?" Jamal asked me as Cookie and I did my hair and makeup. "More like, 'who's ex boyfriend you trying to steal?' Y'all should know that Jennifer is getting ready for Bruno since he's coming over here," Lucious said as Cookie threw a makeup sponge at his face and it still had some foundation on it. "Hush! Let Jennifer get ready for Bruno if she wants to. It ain't her fault that we made her this beautiful for older guys to come to her," Cookie said as I gave her the really look.
