Chapter 13 - Fight About Love

"This is my favourite part and the next few years to come for they were my thriving years and when I most content and happy , the next week, Lucius and Narcissa graduated"

"Horatia" A tap on her shoulder made her turn and she found Narcissa standing there, her blue eyes worried and hopeful.

"Oh, Narcissa" Horatia was shocked but swallowed it quickly. "Is everything alright?"

"No, us , we are not alright and I can't have that, Lucius, he spoke to me and said that, how I treated you, it was wrong Horatia, I wish I could turn back time-"

"But you can't " Horatia smiled softly. "It's fine, no deep wounds, I'm a big girl, I knew it was because of a deeper meaning" She added, looking behind them seeing Theodore Nott and Lucius chat. Naricssa followed and let out a embarrassed laugh.

"You really can't miss anything can you? how do you do it?, how can you know people so well?" She asked her.

Horatia shrugged. "I just look at them, you see anything if you look good enough, faults and goods" She sighed. "I hope you have a wonderful life Narcissa, Hogwarts will be strange with out you"

"As will our days without you" She replied and they embraced.

"My reunion with the others was something I was both dreading and looking forward too"

Approaching their group, she swallowed tightly. Remus was the first to notice, then Lilly and so on till they were all looking at her.
"I-" she croaked. Without warning Lilly raced over and engulfed her in a hug.
"Goodric knows we've been worried about you" Horatia felt her eyes brim again with tears. Finally she hugged her friend back. Then another pair of arms found her. Sirius wrapped his arm from behind her, another came around her and Lilly shoulders, it was Remus. Peter soon followed suit and finally , James went on the opposite side of her and Lilly. They stayed their for a second, the girls sniffing and the boys giving a chuckle every now and then.
"Shit!" James exclaimed and everyone broke apart and stared at him. "We haven't even packed and we're leaving in 1 hour!" He stated, the group soon burst into laughter.
"Leave it to Potter to pack last minute" Lilly mused. "Will you boys ever learn?"
"Well maybe if my teacher was as hot as you I'd pay attention in class " James winked at her. She rolled her eyes but Horatia did notice the red tinge pinching her face.
"Why not we all pack together? As a send off till we come back home ?" Remus suggested.
"Sounds like a plan" Sirius said standing behind Horatia.
They all agreed, she gave Sirius's hand a squeeze with a smile as they all walked on.

They packed and packed till all the boys were ready, now all they had to do was get the heavy trunks downstairs.
"Oh Horatia can you get me the book on that dressing table, over there" Remus pointed across the room. She followed his directions.

"Where?" She frowned.
"Just there, where-?" Remus walked over to her, searching the dressing table. "Longbottom did say he left it here, strange, wonder what-" Suddenly he froze. Him and Horatia stood inches from each other. They tried to move and couldn't.
"What the hell is this?" She groaned.
James was sniggering at them and Lilly covered her mouth with her hands. Sirius and Peter was taking Peter's trunk down stairs.
"Horatia, I think , were trapped under enchanted mistletoe" Remus groaned.
"What?!" She panicked. "You've got to be kidding me?"
"I'll kill Long-bottom the next time I see him" Remus looked up seeing the hidden mistletoe on the bed.
"Must of kept it for a rainy day " James said now controlling his laughter.
"Remember me to also kill James while I'm at it" Remus grumbled.
"What's the commotion?" Sirius asked as him and Peter entered again.
"They got caught under enchanted mistletoe" Lilly explained. Horatia slammed her eyes shut.
"Can my luck get any better?" She mused sarcastically.
"Tell me about it" Remus sighed. "Sirius go and get McGonagal, she might be able to do something" Sirius nodded and raced out the door.
"Thanks mix my sister into it why don't you ?" Horatia sighed.
"I forgot sorry, I panicked okay, no offence but Horatia as lovely as you are , I certainly don't want to kiss you"
"Feeling is mutual"
"But, we can't just stand here" He stated. She tried wriggling.
"You do realise the depth of the situation right?" Lilly says.
They look at her.
"The mistletoe only works if you think the other person is fit" James stated.
They looked at each other.
"Sirius hurry up!" Cried Horatia.
Soon the footsteps of Sirius and her sister raced upstairs. She sighed seeing Horatia.
"Hey sis, long time no see" The younger sister smiled.
"Will you ever not be in trouble? Or a strange scenario?"
"I think I'm fated, can you fix it?" She asked.
She walked over and saw the object and sighed.
"No"
"What!" Both Remus and Horatia exclaimed.
"Sorry, but that's unbreakable kissletoe 1976" McGonagal explained.
"You're joking" Remus groaned.
"I think I have an idea, stay there, James come with me" Sirius said and him and James raced out.
"Well I guess I'm no longer needed, I will see you all later" McGonagal bowed her head to them. She gave Horatia a last look and left.
"You and your sister relationship has really changed" Remus said.
"Tell me about it, Salazar sake! I'm standing here all day, I have to see Hagrid and Dumbledore before I leave I have gifts! Lilly, please" Horatia looked at her friend.
"One way guys might as well get over with-"
"Yes and just say that we didn't and that Minerva did something to help" Horatia stated.
"That's not what I meant" Lilly said.
"No I agree, you and Sirius just got back together and I don't want to make things more awkward" Remus nodded.
"Alright" Horatia said. Their was a pause and quickly, Remus kissed her;better than expected. As usual the mistletoe fell to the floor by their feet but they stayed.
"Guys?!" Lilly said and they broke apart. "It worked" She smiled.
They moved away.
"Thank God " Horatia laughed.
"Yes indeed" Remus laughed also, throwing the mistletoe in the bin.
"Hey we're back-" Sirius froze. "Your?"
"Yep all sorted, well I have to go and give those gifts to Dumbledore and Hagrid, I'll see you lot later" She said quickly and smiled , leaving .
"What happened?" James asked.
"Here's a better question, why in Merlin's name do you have a crowbar for?" Lilly said.

After saying goodbye to everyone, especially Remus. A very overwhelmed Horatia visited her favourite staff. Giving Dumbledore a huge bag or lemon sherbets. Then she visited Hagrid, a large book filled with all the knowledge on rare dragon species. He loved it and hugged her for so long that she believed she was never going home.

Saying farewell , she left the cabin and began her way back to the castle when Sirius was spotted, standing rather unhappy.

"What's the matter with your face?" She asked.
"You kissed Remus" He said simply.
"I had too"
"Not for that long" He scoffed folding his arms.
"Are you judging me? Mr snogs a new lassie everyday" She questioned. For this was true and say it with her own eyes.
"I do not! Thank you very much" he replied.
"You kissed me after knowing me for 4 something hours, who's says you aren't like that with others?"
She began walking up the trail.

"Hey! Takes two to tango darlin and you were dancing like a pro" He walked and stood in front of her. Both of their tempers growing.
"So what? I kissed Remus, I enjoyed it , you know what? Maybe a bit more than ours" Both knew this to be lies. She poked a finger into his chest, he gasped.
"You liar! You went weak in the knees for me, you probably gave Remus more potion tips after yours?"
She shook her head, pushing past him.
"Real gentleman you are, bloody Gryffindor my arse" She grumbled and Sirius couldn't help but love her for it.
"Well love, nothing to brag about being a Slytherin" He quipped. She stopped and turned back storming right up to him. Her wand out , he wasn't affected.
"You foul, loathsome, scumbag, of a man, ugly dog!" She said her wand at his chest.
"Well if we're calling names, you're a goblin sized , annoying , two timing snake!" His wand was now pointed at her chest, she wasn't affected.
"But" he continued. Making everything she suddenly felt disperse into nothing and was left with the warm brown eyes that was Sirius Black.
"I don't mean it, just like you don't mean those things about me" He placed his wand in his pocket once again.
"I do " Was all she said pushing her wand harder to his chest.
"If you did, you wouldn't look at me like the way you do"
She hated him because he was right, she would let him win so easily.
"You egotistical brat , I don't care" She scoffed faking and turned away.
"But I do!" He said. "I can't breathe because of you" He said almost angry because of it. She turned.
"It's not my fault" She snapped.
"Oh but it is, swaying your hips, winking and blowing kisses"
"Did you get hit over the head by troll with a mallet? I'm not like that"
"Yes , yes you are, batting your eyelashes and that stupid laugh that sounds like a dying animal" He stated. She lowered her eyes to slits.
"You're one to talk , you're laugh sounds like a donkey" She growled.

"Least I don't go around like oh look at me I'm so pretty oh" He mocked in a horrendous Scottish accent.
"Yes you do sweetheart" She smiled sarcastically.
"Doesn't matter, I don't go around snogging your friends"
"IT WAS ENCHANTED!"
"PETER SAID THERE WAS TONGUE!" He exclaimed.
"You're insane, this is all over some stupid mistletoe that means nothing"
"Nothing? You plonker mistletoe doesn't work without being mutual attraction!"
"Oh" She paused.
"Yes oh" He said placing a hand through his hair.
"But, I believe Remus is handsome , but I don't have feelings for him" She stated.
"You don't?"
"Well Sirius if you pulled your head out of your own arse every once and a while you'd know who I really had feelings for , something I thought you already know clearly I was transparent enough" She replied.
"Was it...really better than ours?" He asked small.
"I'm dignifying that with an answer, I need to pack" She turned.
"Wait, wait wait" He raced after her.
"What you've said your fair share? So Sirius I'm going now so-"
"I like you" He said out of the blue.
"What?"
"I mean it, not just friends or whatever like really like you, like looking into the future like you, don't you understand , how much that is to me? I don't know if it will help but there, I like you"
"You like me?" She stumbled.
"So bloody much"

He storms up placing his hands on her face and kissed her. Her hands crawling up his back , moving across his spine  and then back to his chest pulling his shirt , pulling him closer to her. His hands moving from his face to into her hair. Then wrapping his arm around her shoulder and the other around her frame , tugging her tighter so she flushed against him. It started soft, soft like their arguing, until it reached an explosion of feeling , next thing she knew, her feet left the grass and completely wrapped with Sirius Black with nothing on her mind other than the mirrored thoughts of Sirius. That they were feeling , deeply, immensely, stupidly, dangerously crazy about each other and it was okay because they didn't care.
