"Shit."
Clarke looked up at Murphy, who looked like he was about to pass out.
"What the hell do I do?" Murphy asked loudly.
"For starters, you calm down! Just help me get to medical." Clarke said.
"I can do that." Murphy nodded.
He wrapped an arm around Clarke's waist and wrapped her arm around his neck. After frequent stops for Clarke to rest or try to breathe through a contraction, they made it to medical. Clarke cursed out loud when she saw it empty.
Murphy helped her onto a bed."Stay here, I'll go and find your mom and Bellamy." Murphy said, holding out his hands as if to stop her from getting up again.
"Where am I gonna go?!" Clarke yelled.
"Right." Murphy nodded.
"Go!" Clarke cried, pointing to the door.
Another contraction hit Clarke, and she squeezed her eyes shut. She tried to focus on her breathing, but the pain was almost unbearable already, and she knew it was only going to get worse. She decided to try and walk through the pain. She clumsily rolled off the bed and stood up. Clarke began pacing the room as Abby crashed through the doors, Murphy at her heels.
"Clarke!" Abby gasped.
"Mom, it hurts." Clarke cried.
"I know, baby, I know." Abby said while running a soothing hand along Clarke's back.
"Where's Bellamy? I can't do this without him." Clarke sobbed. "He can't miss this."
"I couldn't find him, but I'm going to go and look for him." Murphy said before he raced out the room again.
Murphy ran through the halls of the ark. He didn't even bother to apologise when he knocked a man over in his hurry. It seemed no matter where he looked, Bellamy was nowhere to be found. He asked as many people as he could if they had seen him, but he only received a simple 'no sorry' or a shake of the head. Murphy was about ready to go back to Clarke and deal with a brutal scolding until he spotted the familiar head of curly brown hair talking to Octavia in the cafeteria.
"Bellamy!" Murphy yelled before he even reached them.
Bellamy looked up from his conversation with his sister to see Murphy sprinting towards him. Murphy barely stopped before he collided with Bellamy.
"Clarke.... baby.... coming now." Murphy gasped between breaths.
"What! It's too early! Where is she?" Bellamy said, shaking Murphy.
"Medical." Murphy panted.
Bellamy took off in a sprint. His heart raced as he ran as fast as his feet would carry him to Clarke. She wasn't due to give birth for another 3 weeks, give or take a few days. The crowded corridors seemed to drag on for miles as Bellamy ran through crowds of people, going about their own business. He finally reached the medical bay and almost fell to the floor as he pushed the door open.
"Clarke!" Bellamy exclaimed. Clarke leant forward on the metal examination table, her hands grasping the edge. Abby stood beside her, rubbing soothing circles on Clarke's lower back.
"Oh, thank god!" Clarke sighed as Bellamy dashed to her side.
"Are you okay?" Bellamy asked, brushing some loose hair from Clarke's sweaty forehead.
"No." Clarke said with a grimace.
"What do you need me to do?" Bellamy asked.
"Go back nine months and stay the hell away from me!" Clarke spat.
