Before the Epilogue

Chapter 4

It seems like a century before tomarrow comes around. I couldn't sleep last night or eat breakfest this morning. Im to anxious to do anything really.

"Why arent you eating?" Annie asks in her calm voice.

"She's so anxious to see her boyfriend she can't do anything else," snaps Joannah.

"He is not my boyfriend," I coldly and look down at the ring on my finger. We haven't told anyone that we are engaged yet. We were waiting for the right time to tell them. I tun to Peeta and whisper in his ear, "Should we tell then now?"

He nods his head in response.

"Peeta and I have something to tell you guys," I begin.

Everyone turns to look at me and the room falls silent.

I look down at the floor, "We are..." I look up and see Gale standing in front of the elevator. My mouth goes dry. I can't speak. All I can do is stare.

Gale sets down his bags and says hello to everyone. When he gets to me he just stand there and stares.

Again the room falls silent and everyone looks between Gale and me.

"Good to see you again Catnip," Gale says sounding like the most innocent person in the world.

It takes all of my will power not to punch him. "Good to see you too," I say coodly.
