“Cinna had a daughter?” Peeta asks in total shock.

“Oh yes, she's very nice,” Effie beems.

Silence.

“How did you know about her?” I ask.

“Anybody who's everybody’s here,” Effie says enthusiastically.

“Did he have a wife?” Haymitch asks.

“Oh, of course!”

“Is she still alive?”

We all shoot Haymitch a look.

“No she died,”Effie says . A tear starts to form in her eye.

“How did she die?” Peeta asks.

Effie sighs and looks over at me.

She just stares.

Haymitch looks over at Peeta. He raises his eyebrow. I feel Peeta shrug his shoulders

“What?” I ask Effie sounding irritated.

“She died the same way your sister died.” Tears stream down Effie’s face. She gets up and runs out of the room.

This is the first time the three of us have been left alone in a room together since we were training for the Quarter Quell.

Tears start to form in my eyes. I snuggle up to Peeta and bury my face in his chest.

“You just had to ask didn’t you,” Peeta growls at Haymitch.

Peeta still hasn’t really forgave Haymitch.

“Why did you go mutt right before your chariot started moving?” Haymitch barks.

“Your avoiding my question...” Peeta snarls.

“And your avoiding mine too,” Haymitch deadpans.

“I don’t have to answer you question,” Peeta snaps.

“I don’t have to answer you answer your question,” Haymitch mocks.

I cant take it anymore. I stand up and look at Peeta. “He asked because he didn’t think that would be the answer!” I shout in between sobs. I turn to Haymitch. “He went mutt because couldn’t help it! He was hijacked! Did you forget that he didn’t fully heal?!”

I turn on my heal and walk out of the room. I don’t want to speak to either of them.
