Betty and Jug ran down the hall and once they were far enough from anyone Betty pulled out her phone.
- Phone Call -
"Hey Cheryl, can we borrow you and Toni tomorrow?"
"Yeah, sure why? Is everything okay dear cousin?"
"No nothing is fine, thats why we need you and Toni. Mr. Jones is in jail again, for something he didn't do. I need you and Toni to be backup for us while we get him out."
"Are you asking me and my beloved girlfriend to be accomplices to your highjacking of the sheriffs system?" Cheryl asked sounding intrigued.
"Yes."
"Fine, what time would you like us to meet you at the sheriffs station?"
"Tomorrow night at 10:00pm."
"See you then dear cousin."

Betty and Jug discussed further details in the cafeteria before returning to Alice's room. Thankfully she was still asleep but her eyes were purple and blue, matching her stomach. The sight made Betty ill. Her poor mother, all she wanted was happiness and some higher power keeps on tearing her down.
Betty spent the night whilst Jughead went back to the trailer to clean up the blood left in the kitchen. Alice was in no condition to see her lost child smeared on the ground.
"Good morning mom." Betty said as she woke, seeing her mother already up. Alice didn't reposed and just stared into the blank wall in front of her.
"Mom?" Betty asked. "Mom?" Asked She asked once again.
"Please say something? Are you hungry? Thirsty? Do you need to use the restroom?" Betty asked now becoming more concerned. But before her mother could answer the doctor came in.
"Hi Ms. Smith, we have reviewed your chart, and you seem to be doing fine. You are free to leave." The doctor said as a smile quickly faded seeing how Alice was in a daze.
"Does she often do this?" The doctor asked.
"No only when she is depressed beyond words can explain." Betty explained.
"I would like to send her for a mental health scan, but I think its best if she goes home now." The doctor said continuing to look concerned with Alice.
"Okay thank you, can you please bring a wheelchair?" Betty said before the doctor left. "Of course miss." The doctor said and returned in seconds with a wheelchair.
"Mom, were gonna go home now, okay?" Betty said looking at her mom. Alice slowly turned her body and slid of the edge of the bed. She sat in the wheelchair and placed her head in her hands trying not to cry again.
"Mom, please its okay. I promise." Betty began wheeling her mother out of the hospital room. "Mom look its Jug!" Betty pointed to Jughead who was walking down the hall to meet them.
"Hi betts-" He said and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "- how's she doing this morning?" He whispered looking between the girls and Betty didn't even have to answer her eyes said it all.
"Never mind."
He took over pushing Alice down the hall and Betty grabbed her moms hand. Alice tried to pull away, but Betty had a firm grip.
"don't Betty" Alice said quietly pulling her hand away and tucking it into her sleeve.
"Mom please." Betty said. "Don't push her betts." Jug said quietly.
The car ride home was silent. Betty sat with Jug in the front and Alice laid in the back. She continued to stare into oblivion, all Betty wanted to know what was going on in her head.
But all that was going on through Alice's head was pain. It wasn't a pain she could explain, it was just there, and there to stay. Betty and Jug drove her back to the trailer quickly.
As soon as they arrived back Betty assisted her mother into bed. Alice didn't say a word and agreed. She continued to lay in FP's bed and cried into his pillow for hours and was paler than a ghost. Jughead and Betty were both becoming concerned with her mental state, but it was to be expected after loosing a baby.

"My mom really needs to eat something Jug," Betty said walking out of the bedroom.
"I know, but we can't make her eat anything, can we?" Jug asked.
"No not really, but she hasn't eaten anything in a day or so. Maybe we can make her some tea?" Betty suggested.
"I can do that, my dad has some tea packets somewhere around here... Ah here they are." Jug said pulling a box of tea out of the cupboard.
"Thats her favorite tea." Betty said shocked.
"Wow. Look at this," Jug said turning the box so Betty could read 'keep in stock - Ali's favorite' written on a note pad on the back of the box.
"He really loves her doesn't he." Betty said smiling for the first time in a while. "Yeah he does. Theres a ton of stuff around here with her name on it." Jug says putting the kettle on the stove.
They made the tea and placed it next to Alice who was still crying into FP's pillow. Betty just left the room unable to encourage her mom anymore. Her mom hurt was past words, now it was time for her to heal.
"Jug its almost time to meet C and T. I don't want to leave my mom." Betty said looking back at the door with her broken mother hid behind.
"I know Betty, but if we want your mom to heal, we need to get him out. He's the only one who can heal her broken heart." Jug says before kissing Betty gently.
"I love you Jug."
"Love you more Betts, now lets get going." He said quickly grabbing his coat and and the keys.
Betty and Jug left and went straight to the sheriffs station where Cheryl and Toni were waiting.
"Okay guys, so heres the plan. first we are going to sneak in through the backdoor, there will be an alarm that goes off and we need you to distract the sheriff. Fire this gun," Jug said pulling a gun out of his belt.
"and fire it over there," He pointed behind the tree across the road. ",then run, that will give us plenty of time to bust my dad out." Jug said.
"And please be careful." Betty added hugging Jug.
"We will oh sweet cousin, me and TT have this under control. Don't we babe?" Cheryl said smiling ear to ear.
"Of course babe, come on CC lets go fire this bad boy and get our King out." Toni said smiling and running across the road with the gun.
"I will text you when its time to fire." Betty said running off with Jug.
They made it safely to the back door and Jug could see his dad through the little window. "He looks so broken." Jug said wiping tears from under his eyes. FP was standing with his head against the bars sobbing.
"I know Jug, ready to go?" Betty asked. "Yes text Toni, or TT, whatever she's called." Jug says placing his hand on the door handle.
- Betty's texts -
Betty: "Prepare to fire."
Toni: "Just say go"
Betty: "Go."
As soon as Betty hit send the gun was fired and Jug busted through the door.
