-Monday Afternoon-
"Hey guys, how did the trial thing go?" Charles asked as they were all coming into the diner. "It went okay, I wish we didn't have to see that bastard though." Alice chuckled. "Agreed." Jughead and FP said in unison.
"Grab a booth and I'll be over to take your order in a minute." They all went over to the biggest both and crammed in. Betty, Jug and Jellybean all on one side, FP and Alice on the other. They all ordered their food and chowed down. Of course Alice ordered almost everything on the menu and Jughead got all the extra fries, since he won the race.
They all stayed late until Charles's shift ended; and drove home all crammed in FP's truck. Jellybean on Alice's lap in the front and Betty on Jugs.

"Who wants to watch a movie?" Jughead suggested scanning the shelves of the endless collection of Disney movies. "Me, me, me!" Jellybean eagerly raised her hand and jumped up and down. "Maybe giving her sugar wasn't the best idea." Betty laughed and they all crowded around to watch Cinderella.
-*Ring...Ring... Ring*-
"Thats my phone, sorry." Alice hoped up from the couch and ran to her phone. "Careful Al, no running!" FP chuckled. "I'm a grown ass woma- Oh my God." Alice held her breath and picked up the phone. "Alice?" FP called as he didn't hear the last part of her quiff, Jellybean shushed him. FP apologized and went into the kitchen where Alice was on the phone. "Who is it Alice?"
-Phone Call-
"What do you want?"
"Oh come on sis' we've hardly talked and you think I want something right off the bat."
"Get to the point,"
"Fine, I heard you're knocked up and I need a doctor, have any recommendations."
"You called me for a OB recommendation, are you kidding me. You almost killed my boyfriend and his son, and all you want is an OB recommendation!" Alice yelled getting the attention of everyone in the house.
"Okay look I'm sorry. I was high on jingle-jangle both of those nights, well most nights, okay almost every night... including the one when I got knocked up-"
"Save it Penny, I don't care about what excuses you have. I just can't believe after all this time this is what you call me about!"

"Oh my god," FP sighed at the mention of her name. He tried to move closer to Alice but she backed away putting her finger out to shush him.

"God Alice! When was I suppose to call you? When your husband who stole you away from me turned out to be a serial killer? Or when you got knocked up again by FP? I kept the secret about your son for so many years, and I continue to. You just abandoned me at the drop of a dime for some new and rich guy. Cassidy would have never abandoned my like that. I'm your sister dammit!" Penny yelled into the phone now becoming hysteric.
"And I'm your sister dammit! You tried to kill the love of my life over what? Some drugs? And don't bring Cassidy into this!"
"No! Over you, you idiot! And I will talk about Cassidy whenever I want, don't forget she was my sister too!"

"Maybe we shouldn't be having this conversation over the phone. Or at all." FP tried to take the phone out of Alice's hand but she swerved and went to the other side of the island, quickly returning to yelling.

"Over me! What?"
"You let these men steal you away from your family, I wanted you. If I had FP... maybe just maybe, it would bring you back too."
"I'm done with excuses Penny, if you need an OB find one yourself theres plenty, I should know I've been pregnant multiple times."
"I know I sound like I'm making excuses for myself-"
"Penny, stop. Please, I'm done with your acts."
"Alice please don't hang up. I need someone, please."
"Penny, please don't do this to me."
"Alice, I never wanted this. I don't know what to do."
"I was told that you had an abortion." Alice scoffed.
"Who told you that?"
"Hermione heard it from Hiram."
"Oh god, I'm gonna be sick." Penny threw up and Alice heard it all over the phone.
"Penny! Penny, please tell me-"
"What?"
"Just tell me this Penny. Why Hiram, why Maneta?"
"Because... I wanted out. If I did what Hiram said I could get out of the drug dealing business quicker. He promised me a good pay, and once I did my dues I could be free... But apparently those dues meant sleeping with him. Same goes with Maneta. Alice you know I'm not like this-"
"I know Penny, but theres just some things to big to forgive. I am sorry about what I did to you, and I hope you can forgive me. Because I still haven't forgiven for myself for letting you or Cassidy out of my sight. But you can't blame all of your problems on everyone else."
"Alice, please don't-"
"Bye Penny."

Alice hung up the phone and broke down sobbing. FP quickly rushed to her side and pulled her into a hug. He knew that this was bound to happen at some point. Betty had brought Jellybean upstairs to put her to bed since she was in the mists of a sugar crash and was falling asleep. Charles and Jughead sat quietly listening in the living room waiting for the heart breaking conversation to end.
When Betty came down the stairs she avoided looking through to the kitchen, and sat quietly in the living room with her head hung low. She couldn't believe what she had just heard. Her mother has two sisters, and Penny is her aunt. The woman who tried to kill Jughead is her aunt. No wonder her mother became sick when she found this out. "I'm confused, who's Penny?" Charles whispered to Jughead. "I'll explain later." Jug assured.
They all quietly sat trying to tune out the sounds of Alice's heart wrenching sobs from the kitchen.
