No one told Keith that Pidge had texted Lance to tell him that Keith was awake. The reason was that they knew he would be upset about it. And considering all of the things Lance said to him, he probably wouldn't want to see him for a while. They decided not to mention Lance at all when they got there. It would be better for Keith if he didn't know Lance was coming at all. But he was coming and he was going to talk to Keith, but it was better for him if he stayed ignorant just a bit longer.
Pidge: [Lance, get to the hospital]
Lance: [why?!]
[What's going on?!]
[Is he okay?!!?]
Pidge: [He's fine]
[Just got a test from Shiro.]
[He woke up]
Lance: [fuck it]
[I don't care that it's 3am]
[I'll be there in a few]
Pidge: [ok]
[Just so you know, we don't want him knowing you're coming just yet. So if you'll wait outside the room until we let him listen to the recording]
Lance: [ok]
