Urgh. The nerve of that asshole.
How dare him.

How dare he act like that with me. I mean we're not best buds, but he could've acknowledge me.

Stupid Jackass.

Slamming the front door shut, I head up to my room.

After that encounter with Joshua the Jackass, I was left with a very lousy day at school. Ally and Jas stayed away from me because I was sulking and cussing like a sailor at whoever made eye contact with me.

Peeling off my clothes from my body, I enter the bathroom. I instantly relax under the warm water that's cascading down my back.

Fifteen minutes later, I walk out feeling a little refresh.

Changing into my Mickey mouse pajamas, I take up one of my favorite novels from my bookshelf  'Ugly Love' and proceed to read.

One hour later, still reading my novel, my phone inform me of a notification.

Putting the novel down on the bed, I picked up my phone. And guess what.

It's Joshua the Jackass. I decide to open the message, I guess curiosity got the best of me.

Joshua: I'm sorry

Two simple words. Two simple words from him is all it takes for me to throw my phone on the bed and let out a frustrating groan.

He apologized. Joshua Reed apologized to me. A nerdy girl. Oh my God.  He doesn't do apology.

Torn between forgiving him or ignoring him I pick up my novel to resume reading.

But my mind couldn't comprehend the fact that he apologized.

Sighing, I take up my phone and decide to be the better person and forgive him. I mean he must be really sorry.

Me: forgiven, but not forgotten.

Joshua: I understand. I screwed up. I'm sorry.

Wow another apology from Joshua, I must be lucky. Finally a guy that confesses whenever he screws up. I'll give him some respect for that.

Me: since that's out of the way. What time we'll we doing part 2 of the assignment.

Joshua: I'm thinking we could do that later on tonight or meet up tomorrow after school.

Me: After school tomorrow sounds great for me. I got a ton of homework to do tonight :(

Joshua: ok Jessica. See you tomorrow ;)

Me: ok :)

Did Joshua just send me a winky face ?

Looking at the text over again, I decide to let it go. He probably doesn't mean anything. I think we're slowly progressing in becoming friends. I like that. And the thought if that makes me happy.

My phone beep again. Huh another message from Joshua ? Checking it, it isn't Joshua but Jasmine.

Jasmine: honey. You're cooled off ?

Me: I'm all good.

Jasmine: okay honey. Good to hear. Was just worried :(

Me: I know. I'm sorry for being a jerk to you and Ally :(
Joshua messaged me and apologized.

Jasmine: wait.. hold up. Joshua Reed apologized to you ?

Me: yup

Jasmine: damn. You go girl. 💋❤

Me: lol. 😎😊

Jasmine: see you tomorrow hunn 😘

Me: 😘😘

After talking to Jasmine, I walk over to my desk to do my AP Physics homework.

Watching the time it read 9:00 pm. My mind is at peace now. So I can just sit back and do my four pages of Physics homework. Lucky me.
