I'm both excited and nervous that I'll be starting college next week.

I'm excited that I'll be doing the degree that I love and nervous because the courses will be harder, I'll be doing more studying and I need to get all A's and maintain my GPA.

I'm sitting in the coffee shop that Luke said he'll meet me at . I've decided to reach ten minutes early, ordering a blueberry muffin. He was Skyping with his mom, so I gave him some space plus I was craving for muffins.

While eating my muffin, I could feel the burning intense stare of someone, I feel as if I'm being watched.

Looking around the cafe, I notice that there are just five people in the cafe. A couple whose eating cupcakes and laughing, two students who seem to be typing something on their laptop and me. Otherwise than that the staff seems pretty occupied with their work.

I'm sitting near the window where I could see the view from outside.
When I look outside, I see no one staring at me or watching me, but when I look again, I could make out the silhouthe of a man dress in all black facing my direction.

He seems to have a tall, lean figure. Who is this stranger ?

Most importantly why is he staring at me ?

"Hey love, sorry I'm late ." Luke greets me taking a  seat opposite me with two cups of coffee in his hands.

Letting out a gasp of surprise, I give him a smile and when I look back the hooded stranger wasn't there anymore.

It's probably the stress or nervousness of college.

Who knows I'm probably hallucinating.

"You're only two minutes late babe."

After drinking our coffee and ordering four more blueberry muffins and chit chatting, we decide to head back to our condo.

I smile a bit as the cool air engulfed my body, making my hair messier that it was before.

Holding Luke's hand we start off our journey. It's only a five minutes walk to our condo.

Walking along the busy streets of New Haven, I could make out the back of the mysterious hooded stranger.

Indeed my assumptions were right, he's definitely male with his broad shoulders, lean, slim tall body. He's wearing a black leather jacket, black jeans and black combat boots and a hoodie inside the jacket which covers his head.

From behind he seems handsome, he got a nice back.

I felt as if I know this person. The back of this stranger seems oddly familiar but I can't place the person's name.

"You, dressed in black, stop." I yell out  releasing Luke's hand running to meet the stranger, making him walk a faster pace, knowing that I'm after him. I need to know who he is, what does he want.

Thankful that I'm wearing jeans, a tee shirt and sneakers, I run even faster almost catching up to him.

I am only two inches away from yanking away the hoodie from his head, sadly he burst out into a sprint leaving me standing there in shock and wonder.

"Babe, what the hell were you thinking ? Chasing a stranger on the street ?" Luke says to me giving me a disappointed look.

To hell with him and that stupid look. I was this close to finding out who this stranger is. Deep down, I feel as if I have a connection to him, I feel as if I know him. But who the bloody hell is him ?

"I felt as if I knew him. Don't judge me." I defends myself walking away from our conversation and towards our condo.

"I'm not judging you Jes, I was just a bit shock at your behavior. I'm sorry for offending you." He pleads  he catching up with me.

I knew that it was wrong of me to snap at Luke, after all he didn't see the stranger and to him and anyone who saw me, it looked as if I was mugging or attacking the stranger.

"I'm sorry too. I guess I'm just exhausted from all the college thinking and stuff." I admit entering our condo.

"Come on, let's watch 'Friends'." He says putting on the television and patting the seat next to him.

With a smile, I cuddle up next to him, with the stranger at the back of my mind, watching my favorite sitcom with my boyfriend.
