My Epitome Of Love

Be strong, be brave, be confident. I te myself as I stand in front of 'La Casa' hotel thinking how to approach him.

Mom heard it from a neighbor who heard it from another neighbor that the Roberts will be staying in Elton Woods for the weekend at 'La Casa' hotel.

"Jess what are you doing here ?"

Oh oh Seems like I've been caught.

I turn to face this handsome beautiful stranger.

"I came to apologise for everything Luke. Mom explained everything to me today. Turns out she didn't tell me that you visited before you left for Britain and she hid those letters from me. Mom did all those things because she didn't want me to get hurt on the long run. She feels very bad about it. She apologizes for her behavior." I confess.

Sighing, he look at me. " I forgive her, I understand her point of view as a parent, my mom was the same. I forgive you as well Jess. We're both to be blamed for our mistake."

"Are you angry at me ? Do you hate me ?" I ask him with fear gripping my entire body.

"How can I be angry at you, when I'm delighted to see you. How can I hate you when I'm still head over heels in love with you Jessica Lawrence." He says stepping closer to me.

He admitted that he's happy to see me and he just confessed that he still loves me.

He still loves.

I must have been a saint in my former life to deserve this angel.

"I love you too Luke. I never stopped loving you even when I wanted to." I confess closing the distance and hug him. He immediately hug me back.

From the moment our body touche, I felt as if a part of me was awaken.

I feel alive, brand new. All of those memories, those kisses, those touches comes rushing back to me.

We stand in front of the hotel hugging each other for what seems like hours was only five minutes. Yes, I counted. I enjoy every minute of it.

"I'll be staying here for the weekend and then I'll be going back to Britain. I want to make the most of it with you." He whispers  caressing my face lovingly.

Upon hearing those words I feel as if my heart has been shattered into a million pieces.

I know that he'll be leaving for Britain in two days from today. I know that it's selfish but I want him to stay with me longer.

I know that he still loves me but what if he has a girlfriend back in Britain.

"Are you seeing anyone at the moment ?" I ask him, my voice trembling.

"I couldn't even if I tried. I'll admit, I've had some meaningless one night stands but you are an impossible girl to get over love. " he whisper looking at me in my eyes.

I understand what you mean Luke.

"Same here Luke, I've had one night stands, but never relationships." I truthfully tell him.

"So tell me, what have I missed ?"

"Well Elton Woods is the same here. I've made some incredible and wonderful friends. I've gotten accepted to Yale University, I'll be studying Psychology and Behavioral Sciences."

"No way Jess. Me too. I'll be doing Management Studies. Grandpa James was the CEO of his pillow factory called 'Light Features' so I'll be taking it over when I graduate."

Wow. I'm so proud of him, so excited for him.

"That's great news." I exclaim pulling him into another hug.

"Do you want to come in for a while, mom's visiting a friend." He asks biting his lower lip.

"Of course, lead the way." I reply my eyes zooming in on his lips.

With a smirk, he lead me to his hotel room.
