Your POV: "Babe, can we get this one?!" Says Ed, giving me the puppy eyes that he knows I find so hard to resist, but not this time. We're shopping for a Christmas tree, it's our first Christmas as a couple and I want it to be perfect! I look over my shoulder to see what Ed's pointing at, aka the biggest tree in the whole shop and let me tell you it's huge! Way to big for us to carry back to car, I don't know what he's thinking. C'mon Ed, you know that's too big. What about this one? I say showing him a more appropriately sized tree. "But (Y/N)! This one is bigger and better! Pweeeeeeese?????" He says with the most adorable face I've even seen, and try as I might I can't resist it. Fineee, but don't blame me when we can't fit it anywhere! I say with a smile, how could I not smile when Ed's being so cute? We pay for the tree, it's lucky Ed isn't poor cause it cost a bloody fortune!

We eventually get to our car, I have no idea how we managed to honestly, but we did. Since Ed can't drive I'll be doing that, and I've left Ed the 'fun' job of fitting the tree on/in the car. Next minute I can hear a steady stream of curse words coming from Ed, turns out the tree is too big to fit inside the car, it'll have to go on the roof. But it's too heavy for one person to lift so I get out and help him, not that I'm really much help.

Thankfully a random guy who happens to be passing by sees us struggling and decides that he'll come and give us a hand, thank god! With his help we finally get in on the roof and tie it down as securely as we can. The guy, who's name turns out to be, Ben, is also a fan of Ed. Cause Ed's always so thankful to fans and this one helped us he takes a selfie with him and signs his shirt, I love seeing Ed with fans, it's so cute!

Male fans are a lot rarer but there is a few.

After that we hop into the car and start driving home, we recently moved in together, and while some people thought it was a bit too soon we felt it was just right, I really love living with Ed! I turn the radio on and hear the familiar voice that is my boyfriend.

Ed's POV: It's pretty amazing that my songs get played on the radio....but I really wish I didn't have to hear them, it's just so awkward! I'm currently sitting in the car with (Y/N) when Lego House comes on, I feel myself blushing and quickly fumble to change the station and stop it on one playing some random dude that I've never heard of. With that under control I start chatting with, (Y/N), that's one of my favourite things about our relationship; conversation has always come easy, there's never any awkward silences. We're currently on our way home from buying a Christmas tree, since it's our first Christmas being a couple I'm really excited and want it to go well!

There was loads of trees to choose from but I found a really big one, I think it'll be perfect! (Y/N), wasn't keen but I convinced her with the cutest face I could pull (well she says it's cute anyway, I don't see it) the challenge was getting it into the car, it didn't look anywhere near as big when it was inside the shop! After struggling for awhile I realise the only way to get it home is to put it on top of the car. Unfortunately I'm not very strong and even with (Y/N)'s help there's no way we can do it.

Luckily a nearby dude sees us struggling and gives us a hand. He turns out to be a fan of mine, I take a quick picture and sign his shirt, I really love meeting fans, like sometimes I might be tired and stuff but I think it's important to always treat them well, who knows you could save their life just by being kind.

I'm brought back to the present when (Y/N), announces that we're home, now we've just got set up the tree.

Your POV: I've never seen Ed move so fast as when one of his songs comes on the radio, this time it's Lego House, I actually love hearing his music, whenever I'm driving alone and one of them is on I'll turn it up then sing along loudly and out of tune. But I can understand why it makes him uncomfortable, I know I would be the same, if not worse!

He starts up a conversation before we drift into a comfortable silence, I can see he's thinking about something, knowing him it's probably cats!

The ride ends soon enough and I tell Ed it's time to get out now. It's getting close to dinner time, shopping took longer that I thought it would so we need to hurry up and get the tree in, we can decorate it after eating. Through great teamwork we manage to reach the door only to discover that it's too big and won't fit through the door, not from any angle. I want to say 'I told you so' to Ed but that wouldn't be nice, and I'd hate it if he did the same thing to me, so I contain it. "(Y/N), I know you want to say I told you so, just come out with it, I should've thought about this. Oops!" He says with a goofy grin, perfectly reading my mind.

I've finished 'teasing' him and now we need to actually find a solution to the problem. The only thing that comes to mind would be if we put this tree outside and maybe bought another one to go inside the house. Since we nether Ed or I can think of anything else it's decided.

We unpack the tree and spread out the branches, it's looks quite nice, though a bit bare cause it's got no decorations. As we're admiring the strangely placed Christmas tree Ed's stomach -rather loudly- announces that it's hungry, and checking my watch it's past our normal eating time, thankfully we're just having left overs so they won't take too long to cook.

As we're sitting down for dinner, sausages and veggies, Ed's phone rings, he curses then answers it...

Hello....

Oh it's you....

Yes I realise that I've got caller ID......

You know it's dinner time right?....

Yeah it's ok.....

Well you see we went Christmas tree shopping and I found this awesome one.....

But umm it's too big to fit through the door, so we're gonna keep it outside and buy another one tomorrow....

Cool, ok bye....

It was Stuart (Ed's manager/friend) calling to say that he was driving home and saw that we have a huge tree sitting in the middle of our yard and he wondered why on earth it's there. After Ed explained the whole thing to him, Stuart hung up with a laugh.

Since it's too late to go back out and buy another tree we decide to decorate the one outside, we can always buy more decorations tomorrow if we want.

Ed, of course being the mature adult he is wraps himself in tinsel and ends up getting stuck. "Umm (Y/N), could you, uhh help me?" He asks looking at the ground. Sure Ed. I reply laughing at how childish he is, I wouldn't trade him for anything though. One thing is for sure, when I'm with Ed nothing is quite ordinary, but that's just the way I like it!

*AN* I'm finally back! Sorry for the long delay, I was too sick to write and I got major writers block, bleh! But I'm back now :D xx Bella
