Explaining 'Sexy Times'

Your POV: No Dan, we don't have time to 'do it' here! We need to leave for the movies now, plus Kyle hasn't picked the kids up yet. Keep it in your pants! At least until later! I whisper as loudly as I can. Dan and I are going to the movies for the first time in literally years, since we had our twin daughters, Lily and Laura (damn his puppy eyes are good!) it's been all hands on deck, so there hasn't been much time for dates. I never realised just how much work it is having kids! I wouldn't trade them for the world, our perfectly, imperfect family, but I'm really looking forward to going out with just Dan. Both he and I have been eagerly awaiting the date for weeks, it was actually Chrissy's idea, saying that I need to get out of the house, apparently I'm becoming 'a hermit' haha whatever! We planned everything and it was going really well until the baby sitter cancelled on us, since it was such late notice (the very day before in fact) all the other baby sitters were busy, I thought that we'd have to cancel it, sadly. But luckily Dan told Kyle who nicely said he'd mind them, I must remember to bake him something, probably some more cat cookies, he sure does love them! The rambling in my head are cut short when I feel the kiss getting more passionate, wow Dan can't you wait?! But evidently he can't as I feel him pull off my shirt and I'm not wearing a bra, something I now regret doing. Before I, or him can get any more naked Lily walks in!

"Mummy why is Daddy on top of you? And why is your shirt missing?" She asks in her innocent six year old voice. Oh shit how are we going to explain this?!? Kyle then chooses that exact moment to walk in, great like it could get anymore embarrassing! We're in some deep shit...

Dan's POV: I know we really shouldn't be doing this here but I just can't wait, (Y/N) drives me crazy! It's starting to get on the passionate side when Lily, our six year old daughter walk in on us.

"Mummy why is Daddy on top of you? And why is your shirt missing?" She asks in the most innocent voice I have ever heard. Shit!! And just when I thought things couldn't get worse, they do. Kyle comes in. Great, now even if I, by some miracle, can explain it to Lily Kyle will tease me about it for the rest of my life! Umm well honey you see it's just ummmm that uhhhh. Well sometimes when two adults, you're way too young, remember that! Love each other they like to umm cuddle and umm sometimes they take off their clothes umm it's not really a big deal though. Umm does that make any sense, baby girl? I say, so awkwardly. I think I said 'umm' a million times and I'd hate to imagine how red my face is right now! (Y/N) and I are impatiently awaiting her answer, I don't know what we say if she doesn't buy it!

"Oh, ok Daddy. I don't really understand umm well Uncle Kwle said he'd play princesses with me, so bye!" She says and skips off, most likely to try and put Kyle in a dress with makeup. Haha! With that crisis mostly averted (Y/N) and I quickly walk our the door, before Kyle can say anything. Wow I'm not looking forward to arriving home! Oops!

Kyle's POV: I can't believe they were going to do that on the couch! Right where Lily and Laura could, and did, see! I'm going to tease Dan for the rest of his life! Though, I must say he did a pretty good job of explaining it to Lily, a very awkward conversation indeed! Remind me to never do that with our son nearby! Haha! My weird laughter is stopped when I feel a small hand on my stomach, "Kwle, can we dress-ups now? Laura, who can't pronounce my name properly yet, asks me. Clearly she inherited her Dad's puppy eyes, something that makes it nearly impossible to say no to her. Meaning that I'm now wearing a far too small tiara with a face full of makeup, yay! But the adorable smile on both their faces almost makes up for it, almost! Our 'dollies tea party' is interrupted by a knock at the door.

Your POV: Wow that was amazing! I'd forgotten how amazing it is to spend time with Dan! First we caught a taxi to the movies, to watch 'Thor,' mostly because it has Tom Hiddleston -aka my celebrity crush- in it. I think Dan enjoyed seeing it too though. Then we went to a rather fancy restaurant that Dan suggested, honestly I'm happy to go to McDonald's but Dan insisted so here we are. The food was actually very nice and the portions weren't too small, unlike how they are at most other posh places. I had the lamb cutlets with potato wedges -the most unladylike to eat meal they have- and Dan -of course- ordered chicken wings with salad, we ended up sharing the salad and wedges, though. After finishing we just sat and talking, something we haven't been able to do properly in years! Everything from upcoming tour dates (the band is still going) to what flowers we should plant in the front garden and eventually coming back to what happened right before we left. I knew I shouldn't have let Dan do that! I can't believe Lily saw us, like can it get any more awkward, yes yes it can, Kyle then walked in! My head tells me. I can see he's blushing bright red at just the thought, and I'm sure I look much the same. Luckily Dan was able to explain it to her, thank god! But there's still the problem of Kyle, he clearly knows what we were doing, meaning he's going to tease us for eternity, lovely! Since we can't change the past, or do anything about it right now we decide to ignore it and just enjoy the rest of our evening, Dan said he's got a surprise planned, I wonder what can it be?

Dan's POV: The date, -I guess you'd call it- is going really well, conversation comes easy and the movie was great. Though I must admit I was a tiny bit jealous of how (Y/N) was looking at Loki, lucky he's fictional! The actor isn't though...

*skip to surprise*

I being the the awesome and very attractive husband that I am, note sarcasm. Organised a beach walk, I've also set up my piano so I can play (Y/N) some music, I hope she enjoys it!

Getting into a taxi the radio is on, playing some random song that I've never heard of, a few more songs start and finish before we arrive at our destination.

When we get out I can see the smile on her face, (Y/N)'s always loved the beach.

We walk for a little bit, her hand grasped tightly in mine. She's a bit shorter than me, perfect cuddling size! I positioned the piano on the other end of the beach, no mean feat because of all the sand. We eventually reach that point, I tell her my plans and I swear she's tearing up, it's not like I did anything that good, I'm just a loser really. I'm having a great time though, I hope she is too. I start playing and everything other than her and piano disappears, with lovely light from the mood illuminating us it's perfect, I wish I could pause time right now.

*skip to Monday*

"So how's things with (Y/N)? Got up to any more mischief? Huh?" Kyle asks me with a wicked grin. Bloody Kyle! I'm sure I'm blushing so much right now! I knew he'd bring it up again and again, but I really wish it wasn't when I'm with the rest of the band plus loads of other people. Damn! We're working on what will probably be our last album, and while I love the process of writing songs, and recording has good points too, I can already tell it's going to be a long day, thanks Kyle!
