Imagines For Halle pt1

Dan's POV: My girlfriend of almost two years, Halle. Yeah well her birthday is coming up and I want to do something really special, to show her just how much she means to me. But I don't know exactly what to do, I have some ideas but they're probably just really stupid. I'm pretty new to the whole business of having a girlfriend. Damn it! I'm gonna ring Woody, he's been married for a bit now so he'll be able to help!...hopefully.

Hi mate!....

Umm this is gonna sound really stupid, but can I ask for some advice?....

Ok thanks, well Halle's birthday is coming up soon and I want to do something great for her....

But I don't know what to do, it need to be really special!....

That's actually not a bad idea....

Then...oh hi Will!....

No I'm not 'whipped,' I just love Halle a lot, ok!....

Yeah well whatever, bye....

Ah well that could've gone worse I guess. Bloody Will though! Woody came up with the idea of a picnic and then a party later that night, relatively simple but heartfelt, at least I think so anyway.

Now I just need to plan out the picnic details and invite people to the surprise party, I suppose you'd call it. I want everything to be perfect!

It's finally the day! I'm excited but also nervous, what if she doesn't like it? What if I say something wrong? What if.....no! Not today. I tell myself, I'm not having this day ruined. It's going to be a really great day and I intend to enjoy it with Halle! The rest of Bastille is coming to the party, along with the members of To Kill A King, Twenty One Pilots and a few other people, including some of her internet friends! Unfortunately The 1975 were busy -trust me to plan the party on the same day as they have a gig! Well technically her birthday falls on the same day, something I really can't control- I've even hired a band to perform, one that I know Halle loves, I think it'll be a great surprise for her! I've also got some cool stuff planned out for the picnic, but enough of my rambling, I need to pick Halle up from her house, let's get this day of fun started!

I haven't told her my exact plans, instead saying that I though we could go for a walk, I don't want to give it all away.

Knocking at the door my palms get sweaty, why am I so nervous?? But all my nervous disappear when Halle opens the door, I only said to dress casual but she looks absolutely stunning! I swear my heart skipped a beat when she gave me a smile, her smile is honestly the loveliest thing I've ever seen. I give her a quick kiss before we hop into the car, on our was to the location that I decided to have the picnic at, something she doesn't know about yet.

As we're driving along a new song starts playing on the radio, "I love this song!" She says and turns it up rather loud. It's 'Holding On To You' by 21p, I'm not a huge fan of their music, but if Halle likes them then they must be pretty cool dudes, I've met them once or twice I think, and they're invited to the party, maybe this will be a chance to get to know them some more.

By the end of the song a find myself singing along, I'll have to look into them later!

Arriving at the location, a quiet park near a seemingly unused playground. I picked this place cause it's pretty private and looks really relaxing to just sit and chill at. I asked Woody and Kyle to help set up the picnic, they kindly agreed so the food is already waiting for us to eat it, I'm glad of that as I'm getting pretty hungry!

We sit down and I can see Halle looks happy, yay! Since we're both hungry we start eating right away, the silence is soon filled (I'm sorry) as we make some small talk, So, love, I hope you like this picnic, the first of some surprises that I've planned for your birthday, how are you feeling? I ask, smiling fondly at her with my mouth full of sandwich, I'm sure I must look so hot! -sarcasm-
