"Here,"

Napalingon naman ako kay Klyne ng bigyan niya ako ng ice cream. Ngumiti naman ako sakanya bago ko ibinaba ang gunting na hawal ko dahil na rin sa pagtulong ko sa pagde-design dito sa lugar kung saan gaganapin ang graduation namin.

Tinanggap ko ito at umupo kami sa isang bleachers at namahinga doon. The rest of the students who's helping designing are resting right now with their companions. Hindi ko namalayan na lunch na pala. I'm too focused on what I'm doing earlier.

"May I ask?"

"Go on." He said while still lapping his ice cream.

"Kaano-ano mo si Mr. Ruegan?" Ang hambog na Thanos na iyon. Gusto ko sanang idugtong but I stopped myself.

Napatigil naman siya sa pagkain ng ice cream niya at... namutla?

"H-he's my uncle."

I can sense fear in his voice pero binalewala ko lang ito.

Tumango tango na lang ako. That Thanos is the very first person in my hate list right now.

We had small talks before we decided to get back to our work again.

"Excuse me, miss."

I tilted my head to my left to see the person who's talking to me. It was a man on a suit, with a briefcase on his hand and a hat on his head. Para siyang Grim Reaper kung titingnan siya.

"Yes? Is there something you need, sir?" I asked confusedly.

"I am your father's attorney, madame. You should come with me right now."

Kumunot naman ang noo ko. Bakit naman ako pupunta sa lalaking sumira sa pamilya namin? I don't to see be both of my parents right now. Seeing them can bring back the pain that I felt all the way from what they did to us, to me.

"No."

"But you are ought to—"

"I just said no, Mr. Attorney. And that's final."

"You really really need to go and see your father, Madame."

I sighed. Ang kapal nga rin naman ng mukha ng lalaking 'to.

"I said no! Trying to force me to things that I don't like or I don't want will only cause you a great deal in pain in life. Now get out of my sight before I call the guards of this school." I said coldly.

I see sadness in his eyes and weariness on his face before he decided to go and leave me alone. Nasira na ang mood ko dahil doon.

Ipinikit ko muna ang mga mata ko at nag-isip hanggang sampu.

"Wow,"

I opened my eyes only to see, Mr. Ruegan standing in front of me while his hands are on his pockets and with a smirk on his face.

"What do you need." Binalewala ko na lang ang presensya niya at tinalikuran siya. I came back to my work again not minding his overlapping presence.

"Nabigla lang ako sa ginawa mo doon sa lalaki. It's your father, bakit 'di mo pa puntahan?"

Ikinuyom ko naman ang kamao ko dahil sa galit na unti-unting umuusbong sa loob ko.

"Wala kang pake sa buhay."

"Well sorry to say, I own you."

I stiffened and look at him with my emotionless eyes.

"No one owns me, Mr. Ruegan." I said then gritted my teeth.

He smirked at me. "I own everyone here in my school, Miss Kingsley."

"You. Don't. Own. Me." I said emphasizing every word.

Bigla namang nawala ang ngisi niya at napalitan ito ng blankong ekspresyon.

"Let's see, Khaleesi."

Magsasalita pa sana ako dahil sa pagtawag niya sa'kin gamit ng ikalawa kong pangalan pero kaagad niya akong tinalikuran at mabilis na umalis.

"A penny for your thoughts?" Pukaw sa'kin ng boses ni Aira galing sa pintuan ng kusina.

Kaagad naman akong napabalik tanaw ng malaman na nakatulala na pala ako ng ilang minuto sa harapan ng pagkain. What the hell is happening to me?

Kaagad kong kinuha ang mga kubyertos at magsimula na ulit kumain.

"Nothing, Aira. Pagod lang ako." I tried showing a smile and I fucking succeeded!

Timaasan niya lang ako ng kilay at humalukipkip. Shoot.

"Good to know," she sighed the stood up straight. "I'll be just upstairs. Me and Ianthe. We're going to talk about something. Tapusin mo na iyang kinakain mo them head to Ianthe's room immediately."

"Okay." I simply replied.

Aira finally disappeared on my sight. Kumawala naman ang mabigat na buntong hininga sa'kin. This day is seriously fucked up.
