"(YN), come on, let's just try it okay? I promise I'll be a good boyfriend!" Calum's large brown eyes stared you down and you sighed, slowly shaking your head. Calum had been trying to ask you out for the past year, but you just couldn't bring yourself to say yes.

"Calum, you know I like you..." you began and seeing the look in his eyes shift, you turned on your heel and ran down the hall and outside the studio. His eyes were going to be your weakness. Outside the studio, you leaned against the wall and slowly crawled onto the ground, bringing your knees to your chest. If only Calum knew how much you wanted to say yes, you wanted to be with him more than anything. Hell, you even loved the guy, but you couldn't say yes. Not yet you couldn't.

Calum stood in the spot you left him, his eyes trained on the spot your feet just were. He couldn't believe it, you liked him, why wouldn't you go out with him. He knew you didn't have a boyfriend, you made sure to point that out all the time, so Calum really didn't understand. He'd loved you from the moment he laid eyes on you a year ago.

Your smile had lit the entire room up, you were the first person to give the band a chance, you were the first person that he'd ever fallen in love with. He just wanted to be able to hold you and tell you how much he loved you, you just wouldn't give him the chance.

Sighing, he went back into the recording room where the rest of the guys were and huffed into a chair, looking at the wall ahead of him.

"Said no again?" Luke asked, writing some stuff in a notebook before strumming at his guitar again.

Calum shook his head. "No, this time she said she liked me and then ran off outside. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong, she's not trying to stop my asking but she's also not saying yes. What am I doing wrong?" He sat forward, his elbows propped on his knees, his head in his hands. He was beyond confused at this point, what was it about girls that did this to people.

A hand tapped on Calum's shoulder, bringing his head to look up at Ashton. "You really don't understand?"

"No! Do you?"

"Yeah." He nodded. "She got drunk the other night and after you fell asleep, it was just her and me and well when she drinks, she talks. A lot." Ashton's eyes lifted and he smirked. "She talks her deepest secrets."

"What'd she say?" Calum was now standing, looking his bandmate in the eye, excitement and curiosity had him bouncing on the balls of his feet now.

Ashton giggled. "Alright, calm down." His tone then got serious, Calum would never understand how Ashton could change emotion so fast, but that was for him to think about later, he had another issue to delve into at the moment. "She doesn't want to say yes to you because she wants you to experience the world, she said she doesn't want to hold you back. If she gets into a relationship, she wants to have it be one that lasts, and she's also a little older than you."

"I don't care about age!" Calum interrupted. "I love that girl, she's amazing! But she only says no because she wants me to date other girls? Experience the Hollywood life?"

Ashton nodded. "Pretty much, I told her she was wrong but I don't think she heard me because that's when she passed out on the couch."

Calum's eyes were now trained back in the direction you went. He had to talk to you, he couldn't let you get away, not again.

-

The cool ground chilled your bones, your conversation with Calum still in your mind. The look in his eyes, that damn puppy dog look, you loved it so much, wanted to look into it everyday. Your mind wasn't shutting up and you didn't mind, it was distracting you so that you didn't go back inside and continue to make the situation with Calum worse than it already was. You couldn't keep doing this to him, he had to know, you just didn't want to be the one who had to tell him.

The door next to you opened and a pair of long slender legs walked out and stood in front of you before reaching for your arms and pulling you up. Once you stood, you looked up into the eyes that had your heart fluttering like a million butterflies had just been released.

"Calum."

He nodded and leaned his head down and captured your lips in his, you were caught off guard by the kiss, but that didn't stop you from kissing him back. His lips tasted so sweet, just as you'd always imagined they'd be. They were full and matched with yours perfectly. You'd wanted to taste his lips for so long and it was finally happening.

But remembering your earlier conversation, you broke off the kiss, catching your breath, your hand clutched onto Calum's shirt as you looked to the side. "Why did you..."

He interrupted you. "I don't care about the age difference, (YN), you're barely a year older, that's not shit. You want a relationship you can see going the distance, you don't want to hold me down? (YN)," He paused making you look into his eyes. "Ashton told me what you told him the other night when you were drunk, when he said all that, it made complete sense to me why you kept saying no. But I'm here to tell you, I don't want anyone else! I want you, if this goes the distance I'll be the happiest guy in the world."

"But you're only 18." You say quietly and he shook his head harder.

"Doesn't matter. Young love happens all the time, you're not going to be holding me back. I want you, only you, never anyone else. Please, (YN), please just give me a chance. Let me prove to you that I can be who you need, be the one who'll stay by your side for a lifetime. I won't go anywhere if you don't' go anywhere. Please, just say yes"

You blushed as he spoke. "You are very persistent Calum." He was getting antsy and begun dancing on his feet as he awaited your proper response. "Only if you're sure." You say and he nods his head, he really was the most adorable and sexiest person you had ever met. "Then okay, I'll give this a shot."

"Really?" He nearly screamed to the heavens and you giggled and leaned in for another kiss and he had no problem giving into your wants. As you two shared another kiss, you heard hoots and hollers from inside and the both of you slowly turned to see the other three guys smiling and waving from inside a window, congratulating you in their very special way.

You turned back to Calum. "They're a part of the package with dating you?" you question and Calum shrugged his shoulders.

"Sorry."

You shook your head, opening the door to head back inside. "Don't be. I just can't say no to you anymore."
