Chapter 3

"Um, it's Jay." Said Jenna with a nervous look.

"Really? Oh my goodness!! Seriously?!I'm so happy!!! But if he hurts you he's gonna get it." I said acting all tough.

"I know. That's why I love you." She said.

I pulled into Jenna's driveway said goodbye and started backing up the car when I see someone behind it.

I slam on the brakes and park my car and get out.

Once I walk around the back of my car, Drew is standing there leaning on my car.

"Dude you better watch where you're backing up." He said with a smirk.

"Maybe you should learn how to not walk behind moving cars," I said with sass.

"Anyway, I wanted to know if you wanted a ride to work tonight?" He's said smiling.

"Yeah, thanks for asking," I said with a smile.

"Yep, I'll pick you up at 4:30. Is that ok?" He asked.

"Yep, that's good. See you then." I said smiling

"Alright," He said walking away.

I get back in the car and put the car in reverse.

I looked back at Drew and I see him walking in his house with a huge smirk on his face.

I pull in my driveway and start thinking.

Does he like me back?

Should I tell him?

No, I shouldn't because that could be a huge embarrassment if he says no.

I shake those thoughts away and start walking in the house.

Nobody was home yet so, I walked into my room and hooked my phone to my Bluetooth speakers and start blasting "Sad!" By XXTENTACION and I start dancing around my room.

I open the shades and I can see right into Drew's room.

His room was dark so I was like good he won't see me dancing.

Until my jam, "In My Feelings" by Drake comes on and I'm totally jamming and dancing out of control.

Until I realize I was still in front of the window.

I quickly stopped and looked out my window and there was Drew sitting on his bed laughing at me.

What an embarrassment.

Oh well, I thought then continued to dance while getting ready for work.

I put on a white and black marble bikini, then over top, I put on a black vans cropped hoodie, some high waisted white shorts on.

I decided to French braid my hair into pigtails. I was still jamming to my music until my phone beeped.

I looked, it was Drew saying that he was here. It was four twenty-nine, right on time.

I got my stuff for work and wrote a note and left it on the kitchen island that said, " I'm at work, Drew's taking me home so don't wait up."

I walked out of the door and locked it. I start walking to Drew's grey Range Rover.

I got in and he had no shirt on oh my goodness , I tried so hard not to drool.

I got knocked out of the trance when Drew decided to talk.

"You might want to wipe that drool off your face." He said smirking.

I sat there in embarrassment until Drew started talking again.

"So, work shouldn't be packed at all today so, we will get so surf." He's said winking. 

"Yesss, I'm so excited. I feel like I haven't gone surfing in like forever." I said looking out the window.

"Yeah, work has been so busy lately. I'm excited to see what skills you have," He said.

"Oh, your gonna be shook," I said laughing.

We both start laughing.

We finally got to work, we both got out and started walking to the boardwalk.

We got there and the place was dead.

We walked up to our boss Karen to see what she wanted us to do.

Karen said, that we could go to the beach.

She gave us walkie talkies so if the place gets busy we can come back up and help.

I take my hoodie and shorts off and Drew just stands there looking at me.

I think to myself payback, then I said: " Who's the one drooling now."

He just looked at me in shock, until his face turned into a smirk.

He came over and picked me up and ran to the beach.

I'm slung over his shoulder yelling "Drew put me down."

He didn't listen.

We finally reached the beach and he kept running until he threw me down into the water.

I got up and pulled him into the water too.

There was this cute old couple walking on the beach and I heard the old lady say,

"I remember when that was us."

Then she smiled at her husband.

He looked at us and said,

"Me too."

Then he went up to Drew and said:

"Don't mess this up son because she could be the love of your life."

Then the old man smiled at me and walked back to his wife and they continued walking down the beach.

I looked at Drew and he was staring at me with this weird look in his eyes.

I just smiled and started to walk out of the water and on to the beach.

Until Drew grabbed my wrist and turned me around and kissed me.

I was totally not expecting that. I pulled back and looked at him.

He got all awkward and said,

"I think Karen needs me". 

Then he started running up the beach towards the boardwalk.

I just stood there confused about what just happened.

I shook it off and started to run up towards the boardwalk.

I got to the Surf Hut and Drew was nowhere to be found. Karen comes up to me and says " You can go home the store isn't busy I can handle it myself."

I asked her if she was sure and she nodded her head yes.

I grabbed all my stuff and headed for Drew's car but, there was a problem it was gone.
