Chapter 4

Great, I thought so I pulled out my phone and called Jay.

Jay: Hello

Me: Hey I was wondering if you can pick me up from work.

Jay: I thought Drew was taking you home

I didn't want to start anything between him and Drew.

Me: He had to leave early. So you coming or not?

I heard Jay huff and puff on the other end.

Jay: Fine be there in ten.

I sat there on the bench waiting for Jay when this cute guy came and sat next to me and asked.

"Are you alright?"

You might think it's weird but it's eight o'clock so it's almost dark and I'm sitting on a bench all by myself.

"Yeah, I'm waiting for my brother to come to pick me up," I said nicely.

"Well, I can wait with you if you like?" He said smiling.

"Yeah if you don't mind," I said.

He sat down next to me on the bench and said.

"Oh, I forgot my name's, Noah."

"Hey, nice to meet you, I'm Delilah."

Noah and I were really hitting it off really well.

I saw Jay's black Audi R8 pull in the parking lot.

I started to get up and I said,

"My brother is here. I better get going."

"Can I at least have your number?" He said nicely.

I nodded I gave him my number and said goodbye then I started walking to Jay's car.

I open the door and I can tell he's mad.

I sit down and he just starts driving and didn't say anything. Until he said,

"Delilah tell me the truth why didn't Drew take you home."

I looked at him unsure.

"Please." He said. 

So I told him everything that happened at the beach.

By the time I finished telling him what happened he hugged me and said,

"Are you ok, because that must have hurt you."

Jay always knew I had a crush on Drew he just didn't say anything.

"Yeah I'm fine it's Drew I'm worried about," I said.

"Ok, I'll talk to him tomorrow and let you know." He said smiling.

"Thanks," I said with a smile.

I hugged him before I got out of the car.

I walked into the house and got an apple, then walked up to my room.

I changed into my pajamas and turned out the lights.

I got into my bed and looked out the window.

I saw Drew walking back and forth and Jenna standing there yelling at him.

I thought I was weird for watching them so I decided to go to bed.

My alarm went off at six thirty like usually I got up and brushed my teeth.

I decided to wear a grey v-neck shirt with a little knot at the bottom, some dark blue jeans that are rolled up, a jean jacket, and some converse.

I curled my hair lightly and a little bit of mascara on and called it a day.
