Day before Prom

I wake up and have a million text messages from the group chat.

My girls 💕

Jenna: How about we get our nails done today.

Sav: yesssss I'm down.

Jenna: what about you Lilah.

Sav: hello........

Jenna: answer your phone. I need to make an appointment.

Sav: get your ass up.

Jenna: if you don't wake up now I'm gonna come over and tell Jay you ate all his cheese puffs.

Me: I'm up. Geez.

Sav: Finally!! So you coming.

Me: ofc duh.

Jenna: be over in 10.

I get out of bed and get dressed into Drew's football sweatshirt, black leggings, and my white slip on vans.

Yeah Drew gave me his sweatshirt.

Ok a little secret.

He gave this to me during the season I kinda forgot to give it back.

Oops.

I walk into my bathroom and brush my teeth.

I throw my hair into a cute ponytail and call it a day.

I walk downstairs and Sav's downstairs with my mom.

"Savanna said that you girls are getting your nails done."

Savanna mouthed I'm sorry.

If you mention something that us girls are doing she thinks she's has to go with.

Don't get me wrong I love doing things with my mom but, it's nice to be with just friends sometimes.

"Yeah."

"Ooo Joy and I are gonna come with to get pictures for our scrapbooks." Mom said looking for her purse.

She continued,

"I'll meet you girls there. Joy and I are paying."

She seems so happy.

Jenna's car pulls up to the house and I yell.

"Shot gun."

"Not fair." Sav said frowning.

"I'm coming with." Jade said walking down the stairs.

"No your not." Sav said.

"Yes I am Aunt Dani said I can. So I'm going." Jade said walking out the front door.

Sav calls my mother, mom. Jade on the other hand calls her Aunt Dani.

We followed Jenna and got in the car.

"Hey guys wanna go to Starbucks." Jenna said backing the car down the short driveway.

"Yes." We all shouted.

We were jamming to Imagine by Arianna Grande.

Starbucks is only 5 minutes away from our house.

So we got there pretty fast.

We went through the driveway since we didn't feel like going in.

Jenna got a Venti Java Chip Frap.
