Chapter 19

"Don't you think it's too soon? Everyone's gonna start talking. Plus I don't know if I forgive you yet." I said looking away.

"Ok maybe it's a little bit soon but it's doesn't matter. We both never lost feelings so what does it matter." He said grabbing my hands and looking into my eyes.

"I don't know can I think about." I said looking back at him.

"Yeah take all the time you need I'll be here waiting." He said smiling. I kissed his check and walked out of his house and over to mine.

I walked in and there's jay standing there like a dad. But of course he was his cheese puffs in his hand.

"What." I said laughing.

"Why didn't you come home last night." Jay said starting to sound even more like a dad.

"Um actually I don't remember. All I know is I woke up in Jenna's room." I said looking in the fridge.

"Oh really because Jenna woke up in you're bed." Jay said confused.

"Why?" I said grabbing an apple.

"She said that you were up in her room sleeping so she left and came over here and slept in your bed." Jay said.

"Ohhhhhh." I said still confused.

"So can I leave now." I said looking at him.

"Yeah I guess." He said grabbing another bag of cheese puffs and headed towards the couch.

I walked up to my room and there's Jenna.

"So Drew told me he asked you out. And you said you need more time he's literally freaking out." Jenna said laughing.

"He gets mad when I don't text him back right away. It's actually kinda funny." She said laughing again.

"I still can't believe he asked me out again like dude we haven't talked in like forever and now you wanna date. He makes no sense." I said plopping on my bed.

"Well what are you gonna say." Jenna said putting her phone down and just looked at me.

"I wanna say yes but I feel like something bad is gonna happen and I really don't want my heart to be broken." I said looking at the ceiling.

"That's the chance you take when you date." Jenna said giving me a hug.

"Do you think he will." I said turning my head so I can look at her.

"No idea but I know he likes you a lot. Omg I remember when he asked you out on the field he got home and wouldn't shut up about you. Delilah he likes you a lot. I almost think he loves you." Jenna said making a thinking face.

"Wait what. You think he might love me." I said shocked and sat up.

"Yes I do. So I think you should run over there right now and tell him yes." Jenna said getting excited.

"Ok I will." I said getting up.

I literally got up and ran through the hallway and now down the steps. I finally reached the front door I didn't even care I just left the door  open. I'm running through the yard and I'm at the front door of the Slater household.

I open the door and there's Brittany sitting on the couch next to Drew.
