Chapter 15

It's been about a month since Homecoming.

I haven't talked to Drew since. He's hasn't changed at all. He won't look at me. So I basically don't exist to him. Oh well.

He's back with Brittany.

Shocker.

Everyone knew they were going to get back together.

As long as he's happy that's all that matters.

I have moved on too.

I have been hanging out with Max a lot. We went on a couple dates they were great but there was one thing missing.

The spark.

I didn't feel it at all.

Anyway Max and I have become a thing but we aren't official. I really don't want to go and tell the world I'm in a relationship when really I don't know what we are.

Jenna and Jay are doing well. It was their 3 month anniversary.

They are so cute.

I'm currently working on my homework when I get a knock on my bedroom door.

"Hey someone's here to see you." Jay said smiling.

"Ok thanks. Who is it?" I say confused.

Jay just walked away thanks bro.

I put my homework to the side and I walked down the stairs and there was Max standing in the doorway.

Everyday I'm with him it feels like my feelings get stronger and stronger.

I smiled at him.

"So what brings you here?" I said smiling.

"I wanted to know if you wanted to go out on a date tonight. I know it's late notice. If not it's fine." He said smiling.

His smile is so cute.

"Yes! I would love too." I said giving him a big hugged.

He hugged back.

"So what should I wear? Casual or Fancy?" I said smiling."

"We're just going to the movies and then the beach so I guess causal. But you'll look great in whatever you wear." He said.

I blushed and started walking up the stairs.

Max is one of those boys that compliments you all the time.

I freaking love that.

I'm confident in my body but it makes me feel even better.

I walk into my room and head straight to my closet.

I decided to wear a black and white Nike track jacket with a grey cami underneath it. I was wearing regular skinny jeans and white Nike downshifters.

My outfit looked great.

Since it was a casual outfit I just put on mascara.

I decided to just leave my hair down but bring a hair tie just in case.

I looked in the mirror one more time and went to grab my bathing suit just in case.

I'm bringing the bathing suit that I wore in the hot tub with Jenna.

I look good in that one.

Max was talking with Jay.

"You ready." I said smiling.

"Yep." He said smiling back.

He reached out and grabbed my hand.

I said goodbye to Jay and I walked out the door into Max's yellow Lamborghini.

We were on our way to see Halloween.

I'm not really a big fan of horror movies but Max suggested it. So why not.

I'm probably gonna have to make Jenna sleepover tonight so I can sleep.

"So I heard Drew's having a pool party tomorrow. Are you gonna go?" He said starting to back out of my driveway.

"Probably so Jenna's not stuck with annoying football players." I said.

"Hey!!" He said letting go of my hand.

"I didn't mean you." I said grabbing his hand.

Max makes me really happy.

I think if Max wouldn't have came into my life then I would have been still hung up on Drew.

"So who's all invited to this pool party?" I said.

"Just the team but they can bring their girlfriends." He said winking at me.

"So you want me to go with you. Is that what your trying to say?" I said the last part laughing.

"Yes." He said.

"Ok. So what's this party for?" I said.

"Well the seasons almost over so we have a end of the season pool party. Since we live in California it's not cold." He said turning into the movie theater parking lot.

"Oh sounds fun." I said.

"Yeah ok." He said laughing.

We got out of the car.

We walked into the building holding hands. Of course he wouldn't let me pay I told him I would and he was like no no let me get it.

We walked into the theater just in time.

The movie was over and I was creeped out.

Definitely calling Jenna tonight.

It's 9:30 so we really don't have time for the beach but that's fine. I'm just happy tomorrow's Saturday.

He dropped me off at home and we said our goodbyes.

I walk in and there's Jenna siting on the couch waiting for me.

"What are you doing here." I said smiling.

"Jay told me you went to watch a horror movie so I knew you were gonna text me and say can you come over I'm scared." She said rolling her eyes.

I love my best friend more than anything.

I think more than Jay loves his cheese puffs.

By the way he ran out the other day.

He went to the store and bought 10 bags. Like dude you have a problem.

But I love him even more than he loves his cheese puffs.
