Chapter 31

Friday

Today is the day that's going to be very important.

It's my second first date with Max.

We had our first date together already but who cares.

I wake to the sound of Jay yelling.

I get out of bed then walk to his room.

"Jay are you ok?" I said while yawning.

"No!!!"

"What's wrong."

"All my cheese puffs are gone!!"

"So you decide to scream and have a fit."

"If you're just gonna stand here and make fun of me you can leave!"

"Geez someone's grumpy."

"Take Jade to school I have to run to the store before school."

"Alright."

I walk out of his room closing the door. I walk down the hallway to Jade's room.

I knocked.

"Come in."

"Hey, I'm taking you to school since Jay's grumpy today."

"Ok. Are we going with Max."

"No."

"Oh." She looked disappointed.

"I can ask him if you want? He won't care."

"Yes. Can you?"

"Yep!"

"Thanks."

"Yep."

I walk out of her room closing the door then walk back into mine.

I looked in my closet and picked out a white tee shirt and put my brown leather jacket on over top. I have a light pair of ripped jeans on and some cute white sneakers. I put my favorite necklace on.

I decide to text Max.

Me: Do you think you could pick Jade and I up? If not it's no big deal.

Max: yes. I was going to anyway because Dylan asked if we could pick you guys up.

Me: do you think they like each other? Jade was the one asking if you could pick us up.

Max: Wait. Jade wanted to see me and you didn't.

Me: I never said that.

Max: I'm offended. Haha I'm just kidding. Btw I'm here.

I walk out of my room and yell,

"Jade their here let's go."

I looked in her room she wasn't there. I walked downstairs and she wasn't there. I grabbed an apple and my lacrosse stuff and headed outside.

I locked the door and turned and faced Max he was smiling all big.

"I was just about to come and get you." He said laughing.

He's so cute omg.

I grabbed his hand.

We reached the car and we got in.

"Hey Dill-pickle."

"Hey Lilah."

"Oh comes you guys have nicknames and we don't and you're dating me." Max said with his arms crossed acting like a 3 year old.
