Chapter 16

Jenna stayed over last night but I still couldn't sleep.

Last night Jenna and I agreed that we should go to the beach tomorrow.

So that's what we did.

Jenna and I woke up about an hour ago and it's 11:00am.

"So what bathing suit should I wear." Jenna said looking through my closet.

"You should wear this one Jenna said holding up a black bikini. It has a crisscross x under the top piece and the same for on top of the bottoms.

"Oooo I like it. Now let's find you one." I said continuing to look through my closet

I have so many bathing suit it's unreal.

Jenna picks a pink checkered bikini.

"Girl we're gonna look good." She says holding up the bathing suit and smiling.

We changed and I looked in the mirror.

"Omg look at my hair." I said screaming in the mirror.

My hair literally looks like a rats nest.

"I look like Jay." I said laughing.

Jenna was laughing so hard that she fell on my bed.

Jay walks in and says,

"I heard that."

He shakes his head laughing.

I brushed my hair and put it into a cute messy bun.

I put a grey crop top and some cute jean shorts over top of my bathing suit.

We head out the door and into my Range Rover.

We arrive at the beach and head right to the Surf Hut. We got there and I run over and hug Karen.

"How are you sweetie you haven't been here in a while." She said hugging me back.

"I'm good thanks. How about you." I said smiling.

"Good sweetie." She said smiling.

"I might not be able to work here anymore." I said sad smiling.

"Really. That's weird Drew came earlier and said the same thing." She looked confused.

"Yeah that's weird. Anyway I was wondering if I could maybe start working more." I said.

"Yes how about you can come in tomorrow at 9:00am." She said looking at the schedule.

"Yes that's perfect thank you." I said giving her a hug.

Jenna and I got some surf boards and headed to the beach.

The memories from that night with Drew came flooding back.

"So you ready." Jenna said taking me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah."

So Jenna and I surfed for about an hour.

Now we are getting our tan on.

"Hey can you take some cute pictures of me for insta." I said smiling.

"Yessss girl." She said grabbing my phone.

I took a cute one holding my surf board. Another one with me siting on the sand with the tide wrapped around me. The last one was me standing at a lifeguard towers. Let's just say I looked good.

I took some of Jenna next. We got some good shots.

I posted the pictures. The caption was Good times and tan lines.

We back to the Surf Hut to put the surf boards back.

Karen let's us store our surf boards there.

We walked in and there's Drew.

Great.

"Hey guys." He said smiling.

I tried to not make eye contact.

"So what are you guys doing here." Drew said staring at me.

"We came to the beach like normal people." Jenna said not very nicely.

"I'm gonna go say bye to Karen." I said walking away.

"She left a while ago." Said Drew.

"Oh ok." I said walking back to Jenna.

Jenna and I were about to walk out the door when Drew said,

"Lilah can we talk."
