Chapter 23

I walked up to the old tree house that Drew, Jenna, Jay and I would hang out in when we were younger.

"Omg I can't believe this is still standing." I said.

"Yeah I may have fixed it up a little so we could actually go in it." Drew said scratching the back of his head.

"Awe this literally made my day." I gave him a huge hug.

"Can I go in it." I asked.

"Yes of course."

Drew pointed to the ladder. I started to climb up and I felt my whole childhood flash between my eyes.

I remember the time when Jenna and I would sneak out here in the middle of the night so we could have girl talks.

Also this is the place where I realized I liked Drew.

Jenna and I were sitting in the tree house while Drew and Jay were playing football.

I was siting there just looking at Drew.

"Delilah did you hear anything I just said."

"Sorry what."

"I was saying how Brittany was saying that she shops at Urban Outfitters when we all know she shops at Target."

"Yeah."

"What's wrong."

"Nothing why."

"Because you never been this interested in watching Drew and Jay play football.....Wait omg do you like Drew."

" Eww no." I said trying not to let her see that I was blushing.

"Omg you do." She said shaking me.

"Ok fine. I do."

"Since when."

"I don't know a couple months."

"Why didn't you tell me."

"I thought you would think it's weird."

"Girl no. I ship."

We both start laughing.

End of Flashback

"What are you think about." Drew said snapping me back to reality.

"Oh nothing."

"Just tell me."

"Well 3 years ago I dreamed of us up here together and it's finally happening. I sound like a fan girl." I started laughing.

"Wait you liked me then."

"Yep."

"I wondered why you always wanted to watch us play football." He said laughing.

I started to blush so I hid my face in my hands.

"Don't hide you're face. I felt the same way."

"No you didn't."

"Well not right away about a year later."

"Oh really." I said smirking.

" Yeah I stopped seeing you as Jenna's annoying friend."

"Hey" I said hitting him.

"What?"

"I was not annoying."

"Well when you both were together. Yes. I don't understand how I could  focus during games seeing you walk around in that tiny skirt."

"Omg really." I said blushing.

"I still feel that way and I'm not the only one."

"What do you mean."

"A lot of the other guy on the team thought you were hot."

"Then how come nobody asked me out."

"Because I told them if they did I would beat them up."

"Why."

"Because I didn't want anyone dating you."

"Then why didn't you ask me out."

"Because I had no idea you liked me."

"Are you kidding me. I thought I was so obvious."

"Haha nope. I literally thought you liked Max."

I stood there and slapped myself in the face.

He opened the tree house door and there were cute fairy lights hanging on the top of the walls.

There were two bean bag chairs siting on a huge blanket with a ton of food.

I looked at Drew in shock.

"You didn't have to do this." I said giving him another hug.

"Yes I did." He said smiling.

He's honestly so sweet.

We sit down and eat and talk about literally everything.

It started to get late so I decide to head back home.

Drew walked me to the front door.

It was 11:50.

"Dad's gonna get mad if I'm not in the house my midnight." I said hugging Drew.

We were still hugging but Drew pulls back a little.

"Wait you're Dad's home."

"Nope."

"Wait I'm confused."

"Jay made all these rules on how we are supposed to be home by midnight. Keep the door open when a boys over. No boys over unless he's home and a lot more."

"Haha he's turning into a Dad."

"I know right." I said laughing.

"So I'll pick you up for school tomorrow."

"Yep." I said turning to open the door but Drew pulled me back into a kiss.

I'm never gonna get sick if that feeling.

We pulled away when we heard the door open.

"Stop with the PDA on my front porch. And also you're late it's 12:01." Jay said standing at the door.

"Sorry Dad. Bye Drew." I said walking into the house.

"You have school tomorrow get to bed." Jay said pushing me up the stairs.

"I am chill." I said walking into my room and in the bathroom.

It's Tuesday.

I hate Tuesday's.

The only good thing about Tuesdays are that  the Dolan twins post a new video.

I get up and decided to wear a cute dark grey off the shoulder sweater with some grey and black plaid pants.

I walk downstairs and grab an apple.

"Hey Lilah I don't need a ride for a while Noah's gonna pick me up." Said Sav.

"Ok sounds good."

I hear a car horn and I walk outside.

And there he was..................
