Chapter 33

1 month later

So currently I'm getting my Prom dress with Jenna and Sav. We let Jade come with so she wouldn't be left alone with the boys.

Drew and I haven't mentioned the kiss.

We both agreed that we shouldn't say anything.

Nobody asked me to Prom yet so.

I'm hopping Max will but I don't know.

"Ooo what about this one." Jenna said holding a white fancy gown.

"Are you getting married." Jade said rolling her eyes.

Jenna put the dress back on the rack.

I wanted a tan color.

I walked back to the tan dresses and I found the one.

Without anyone seeing me I quickly went into the dressing room.

I put it on and it was perfect.

I did a little spin and I loved it.

Beep beep.

Sav: where are you?!

Me: dressing room come look.

After a good 5 minutes I here someone knock on my door and says,

"Lilah."

"In here."

I opened the door a little bit.

She opened her mouth wide.

I quickly closed the door.

"What your not gonna let me see it." She said trying to open the door but it's locked.

"Go get the girls then I will."

She groans then I hear footsteps slowly fade.

About another 5 minutes.

I hear more footsteps.

"We are all here now get out." Sav said clearly annoyed.

I open the door and step out.

By the looks of their faces they like it too.

"So what do you guys think."

"It's beautiful Lilah." Sav said looking at it.

"Yess girl work it." Jenna said.

"I approve." Jade said laughing.

We all laughed.

"Now find us our perfect dress." Sav said.

"I will."

I look for the purple dresses.

I think Sav will look cute in it.

I walk and I think I found it.

It's a light grey/purple.

I walk over and find Sav.

"Ooo whose is that."

"Yours." I said laughing.

"Really."

"Yes no go try it on."

The girls and I head to the dressing room.

Sav walks in there and about 3 minutes later she opens the doors.

Wow.

She looks stunning.

She does a little twirl and then looks at us.

"Wow Lilah it's perfect." Sav said looking in the Ugh mirror.

Jenna and Jade gave a thumbs up.

2 dresses down 1 more to go.

I think Jenna would look good in a nude color as well.

So that's where I head.

It's pretty basic just like her.

Haha I'm joking.

She's gonna look so cute.

I find her and we all head to the dressing room.

Turns out I was right again.

It was perfect for her.

We are on the way home.

Jenna's driving.

I get a text from Max.

Max: I know this is a terrible time to say this but I think we need to break up. Plus I wanna ask Ella to Prom. I'm so sorry.

Omg are you kidding me.

He dumps me right before Prom.

I know I should be upset but I'm actually irritated.

"Delilah what's wrong?" Jenna said.

"Max just broke up with me over text."

"Omg are you ok."

"Yeah but now I'm gonna be a loner at Prom."

"Nah. Someone's gonna ask you."

We reach Jenna's house.

We thank her for the ride then Sav, Jade and I head home.

I walk upstairs and put my dress upstairs in my closet.

Sav comes walking into my room.

"So you excited for Prom."

"Yeah I'm just scared I'm not gonna get a date."

"You will. Trust me. Your beautiful."

"Thanks Sav."

"Yep no problem."

She hugged me when Jay screamed,

"Delilah someone's here to see you."

What who's here.

I walk downstairs.

"Jay what do you want."

"Go out back." Jay said.

"Um why?!"

"Just go."

I walk to the back of my house and open the back door.

I stand there shocked.
