Chapter 39

Our parents were currently taking our pictures.

Mom and Joy were going over board like why do you need so many pictures.

"Ooo Delilah I want some with just Drew and you." She said smiling real big.

"Ok." Drew and I said at the same time.

We made it to my front door that looked really pretty.

Drew and I did all sorts of poses.

It was kinda fun.

"Ooo I have an idea.....Drew kiss Delilah." Joy said smiling

"Sure." Drew said with a smirk on his face.

He leaned and kissed me.

I saw like 10 camera flashes in the corner of my eyes.

Then someone comes and pushes us apart.

"Stop making out with my sister on my porch."Jay said pushing him softly.

Drew just rolled his eyes.

"Jay! Be nice." Mom said yelling at him like he's five.

"What I don't wanna see my little sister kissing anyone." Jay said with a duh tone.

"It's ok. I didn't like my when sister kissed guys either in front of me." Dad said wrapping his arm around Jays shoulders.

"See Dad understands." Jay said.

Mom just rolled her eyes.

"Well we better go." I said trying to break the awkwardness.

"Yeah I don't want you to be late." Mom said.

We were about to walk to Drew's car but then a limo pulled up.

"Mom really." I said.

"It was actually my idea." Drew said looking at me.

"I only want the best for my princess." He said giving me a peck on the lips.

He's so sweet.

"Ewww. That made me cringe bro. Never say that again." Jay said patting his shoulder.

Drew just rolled his eyes.

We got into the limbo.

Drew said the rest of the gang could come with too.

We were all siting in the limo.

When it slowly came to a stop.

The driver came and opened the door.

I guess we're here.

Drew said taking my hand.

He walks out first and stands next to the limbo and holds out his hand.

I gladly take it and he helps me out of the limbo.

The prom theme was the red carpet.

So the yearbook staff was standing at both sides of the red carpet.

"Drew and Delilah let me see your good side."

Drew and I posed.

It was honestly so funny.

After our pictures we walk into the building.

The red carpet ends and the building looks so fancy.

It looks like I'm at a fancy award ceremony.
