I woke up after having a strange dream. I got out from my bed and had a good stretch. I went to the mirror and looked at myself.

Eww...

I turned around and the next thing I saw scared the daylights out of me. Guanlin was standing right in front of me, his face expressionless.

I gasped in shock as I took a step back. I felt my heart drumming really fast in my chest.

"You know you're late, right?" He asked in that same low voice.

I looked at him confusedly before looking at my alarm clock on my nightstand. It was 9am.

My eyes widened at the time. Oh shit. I'm very late.

"Do you know?" He asked with raised brows. I swallowed my saliva as I started to sweat.

I don't think I can lie over this. He most probably saw my reaction when I looked at the time so...

I gave him a hesitant nod. He nodded back with a hard look on his face, looking like he's not surprised by that answer. I felt myself getting more scared by his looks.

"Okay then. Quickly go and shower." He ordered. I quickly nod and went to take my towel. I turned around and he was still standing there.

I stood there, waiting for him to leave. After what seemed like hours, he responded. "You need me to help you shower?"

What does he mean by that?

When I finally got what he meant. I gave him a disgusting look and nodded 'no' quickly.

"Then go." He raised his voice as his eyebrows frowned in anger. I quickly went into the bathroom without any thought.

After taking off my clothes, I stepped into the shower and turned on the tap. I let the warm water cascade down my body as my muscles relaxed.

After showering, I wiped myself until I'm fully dry. I was going to open the door when I stopped myself. What if Guanlin is still here?

I decided to open the door slowly and peeped to see if anyone's outside. When the coast is clear, I ran quickly to my closet and took my maid clothes. After wearing it, I tied my hair into a messy bun and ran downstairs.

It was in the evening as the maids started to make food for dinner. Me and Jiwoo were talking and laughing like how we used to. It's been long since we talked like that.

After making the food, we were just talking when I heard the door open. Our voices died down, making the room fully silent.

As expected, the men walked in and to my surprise, Guanlin came in. My heart skipped a bit. It's been a while since he actually came here to eat.

I looked to my right and I could see his presence at the corner of my eye. I could feel him staring at me, making my heart beat very fast.

After a while, I started to daydream about my life. I stayed like that until I heard someone snapping its fingers in front of me.

I flinched as I brought myself back to reality. I blinked and looked in front of me to see Guanlin staring at me with that same old hard look.

He signalled me to follow him and walked off. Ugh...what does he want from me?
