I was just walking around the mansion, feeling very bored. I wanted to just walk around see things I've never seen before.

I looked at the time on the clock, letting out a long sigh after that.

Where did Guanlin go?

We were going to sleep when he got a call from one of his men. After that, he started to rush as he told me that he had to go for something urgent and he'll be right back. He gave me a kiss before going.

Now, it's already going to be midnight and Guanlin's still not back yet. I wonder where he did he go to...

I hope m he's not going to kill anyone. I remember him promising me to not do that ever again. I hope he keeps the promise to himself...

While I was walking around, I went into thought again.

I don't know why but I feel very lonely whenever I'm alone nowadays. Usually, I don't feel that way but now, it feels...different...

Maybe it's the problem that happened quite long ago. Or maybe it's just my thoughts.

I walked up the stairs as I reached Guanlin's room. I opened the door as I turned on the light and walked towards my bed.

I decided to sleep first. I don't think Guanlin would come back at this rate. He most probably would come back in the morning so...

I was about to sit on the bed when I heard
someone's voice calling my name from behind.

"Mina."

I flinched as I quickly turned around at the sudden shock. When I turned to see who it was, my heart dropped to the pit of my stomach.

Minjun was already in the room, standing in the middle. His eyes lit up a little when we made eye contact as he walked towards me.

Suddenly, I felt my anger instantly coming up. Seeing his face is enough to make me angry.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, my voice hidden with anger. Although my voice is really low, I tried not to show my anger.

His face changed instantly. He looked... very...sad. Like, someone important to him left him or something.

I've never seen him like this on my whole entire life. He's the one who is more heartless than Guanlin. Now, he's upset.

"I..." He spoke but trailed off after that. Instead of feeling pity towards him, I just rolled my eyes and looked away, wanting to ignore him.

While I was looking at something else, I ended up daydreaming too. After that, I heard Minjun's voice.

"I...just want to...tell you...that...I'm really sorry...for my actions earlier..."

I turned my head at his direction as he spoke. "I got really mad that I couldn't control myself..." He continued, his eyes on the floor.

After that, he slowly looked up at me. I felt myself getting really angry that I couldnt take anymore.

"Keep your sorry to yourself. I don't want it." I spoke right at his face. He seemed to be taken aback since his eyes widened a little

"Don't ever think of me accepting your apology. Keep dreaming." I told him off.

I was about to turn around when I heard him calling my name.

"Mina, wait!"

I felt so irritated but I tried to hold it in. I turned around after that, showing him my angry look.
