I went inside the shower room and as I turned the tap on, the warm water cascaded down my body. My shoulders slumped as I let out a sigh.

I looked down to see my small belly bump. I thought about the times where Guanlin stood by my side, never leaving me alone.

Even if he had to do his work, he would rather stay with me than doing his work. I do find it cute of him but not really.

At the same time, I do want him to do his work but when I told him that, he gets really angry about it and ends up staying with me.

There was a day where he didn't let me go and mop the floor. Apparently, he said that it's very hard to do that and it would cause harm to the child.

When I told him that I wanted to do it, he got mad and started fighting with me. It was so bad to the fact that I didn't talk to him for the whole day.

He's a really stubborn man. He never listens to me and it really annoys me. Like, I have to make my own decisions too, you know?

After a while of ranting in my head, I decided to continue showering. After I finished showering, I dried my hair and my body with the towel.

I wrapped the towel around my body when I was done drying myself. I opened the door and walked out of the bathroom.

I saw Guanlin looking down at his black, long sleeved shirt as he wore his buttons. He looked up and when his eyes landed on mine, he gave me a soft smile.

I smiled back after that. Honestly, I didn't really care if he sees my body. I don't know why but I feel really comfortable around him nowadays.

I was going to take my maid clothes when suddenly, he grabbed my wrist, instantly stopping me from taking it.

I turned my head at his direction while giving him a confused look. He stared at me, his eyes written with no emotions.

"You're not going to work like this anymore." He said, his voice monontonous.

I felt myself becoming more confused than before. So I'm going to work as something else?

"Then what am I going to work as?" I asked. I don't really know what I can do besides cleaning and cooking.

He let go of my wrist as he went to fix his collar. As he did that, he said something which made my eyes widen.

"Nothing. You don't have to work as a maid anymore. Starting from today." He said while fixing his collar.

I stared at him as he went to his closet. Lots of questions filled in my head after that.

What am I supposed to do now? Where do I go and work? Do I have leave this mansion and work somewhere else?

I heard him speaking after that, bringing myself back to reality. "You're going to stay here with me from now on. You're not allowed to go anywhere or away from me without my permission or unless I told you to." He continued as he wore his coat.

I just stared at him, this time with a blank look. I was so shocked that I didn't know how to react.

He looked at me for a while before breaking eye contact with me. "I'm doing this so that nothing would happen to our baby. If you're not healthy, then the baby wouldn't be healthy too." He continued again.
