I walked quickly towards Guanlin's office and opened the door. I was panting really heavily as I stood there.

"Guanlin..." I called.

He was doing his work when he looked up at me. I walked towards his table. "Is Mina okay?" I asked.

"Yeah. Why?" He simply said, his face expressionless.

Huh?

Memories of earlier came into my head as I thought about it.

Flashback

I was busy mopping the floor the kitchen when I heard the door open. I looked up to see Mina coming in.

"Hey!" I said in a happy tone as I stopped mopping the floor and put it at the side. I pulled her towards me as I hugged her really tightly.

"Hi..." She replied as he hugged me back.

After a while we moved away as I held onto her arms. "Do you know how much I've missed you working here?! It's so boring without you..." I whined, giving her a sad look.

She chuckled softly as she gave me a small smile. It wasn't those happy ones. It looked more like a sad smile.

"Same..." She replied as she looked down. "I wish things goes on our way..."

I let out a breath through my nose. "True." I agreed. "But you're still here so that's nothing to worry about!" I exclaimed in happiness.

She smiled again, the same one as before. The next thing she said made me surprised.

"It's not like I'll be with you forever." She muttered softly, almost to herself. Her eyes still facing down.

What?

I gave her a confused look. "What did you say?" I asked.

She blinked a few times before looking up at me. She gave a tight smile as she nodded her head quickly. "N-Nothing..." She quickly spoke before leaving the kitchen immediately.

After telling him what happened, I calmed down a little. Guanlin looked surprised and confused at the same time.

"What's she trying to say, Guanlin? What is she trying to say?" I asked. I really want to know.

He stayed silent as he went into thought. After a while, his eyes widened as his mouth opened slightly, looking like he knew something.

His eyes darted to mine, fear was evident in them. "Where is she?" He asked, his voice dead.

"I don't know. That was the last time I saw her." I said.

His expression became blank as he quickly got up from his seat and left the room.

Mina

I was just staring at the window, thinking about what to do.

Whenever I think about Guanlin, him being a Mafia Boss comes into my head and it...
scares me.

I'm really scared of mafias and yet, I hate them from the moon and back. They do a lot of disgusting stuff that makes me go mad.

I can't believe Guanlin's under one of them. I can't believe I was too blind to notice that.
