I was cleaning Guanlin's office. He told me that he had to leave to meet one of his relatives. He said that he would be back fast so I shouldn't worry.

While cleaning, I heard the door opened. I looked up to see one of the maids, named Sohee, entering the room.

"Hi..." She said while smiling. I looked at her as she came in with a mop and bucket.

Oh, she's coming to clean the floor? But I don't remember hearing her name though...

"Hi." I replied, smiling awkwardly. I went back to cleaning. As time passed, silence filled in the air.

I've never talked to her before. She's one of the popular maids around here so a lot of people are usually around her. She seems really friendly and nice so I guess that's why she's popular.

Honestly, I don't really like her that much. I don't understand why people like her. She creates a lot of unnecessary problems that makes people really angry. It's so bad that even the nicest person in the world would get angry at her.

I remembered Jiwoo telling me that she and Guanlin's father had a really bad fight that he nearly slapped her. Ever since then, both of them treat each other like enemies.

I found that a little cool actually. She's so brave to do such thing to Guanlin's father. I'm already shivering when I see him.

One of her friends said that whenever she creates a problem, she does it for a reason. It doesn't seem like that to me though.

"Do you enjoy working here?" I heard her ask. I flinched as I came back to reality. I looked up at her who was already mopping the floor.

"Y-Yeah..." I smiled before cleaning Guanlin's table. She nodded while doing her work.

After that, the room fell into an awkward silence. I hope she stops talking. I don't want to talk to her. It feels really awkward.

But she seems like she's just doing her work though. So maybe she might just clean and go.

I went to the left side of his office where there's a mini bar. I was going to clean the counter when I heard her voice.

"Sorry to disturb but...can I ask you something?" She asked.

My breath caught my throat as I stared blankly at the wall. Oh god...

Looks like she's never going to stop...

I looked back at her who was already staring at me. "Uhm...sure?" I said. It sounded more like a question than an answer.

"Do you like Guanlin?" She asked. My heart stuttered after hearing his name. I could feel my body heating up as my heart started to beat faster.

Not this time...

Do I like him? I mean...he's okay, right? He seems to be getting better so...

"He's...okay I guess..." I replied in an unsure tone.

Her faced changed to shock. Mostly in disbelief. She stayed like that, staring at me with that expession for a few seconds before speaking.

"Girl, did you just say that he's okay?!" She asked, while giving me a confused look.

I stared at her with a blank look, not knowing what to say. "What do you mean he's okay?! He treats me so badly like I'm some form of toy." She spoke angrily and ended with a loud groan.
