Chapter 30

Sorry for a long ass update :/ but meh

This is probably the longest chapter I've written so far. Maybe I might write longer in the future you know ;)

There might be a lot of mistakes so be prepared to see one :D

After finishing what I had to do, I walked briskly to my room, not caring about anything. I just wanted to lie down on my bed. That's all.

After I reached my room, I closed the door and quickly dropped myself onto the bed.

Finally...

I felt relieved after a busy day. Today was really a hectic day for the maids as loads of visitors came today. We were rushing to do things and some of the maids got scolded because they weren't cooperative enough.

The saddest thing was one of the maids got punished because Guanlin's father assumed that she did something wrong which wasn't true. Another maid made up a story saying that she did it.

What nearly break my heart was she was crying really bad. I felt really bad for her that all I wanted to do was comfort her and help her.

But sadly, I couldn't. All I could do was stand there and watch her suffer. That incident really spoilt my whole mood today.

After staying in that position and ranting in my head for too long, I finally got up from my bed. I stripped myself and went to the bathroom.

I turned on the tap as the warm water hit against my skin, causing me to relax. I let the warm water cascade down my body.

Have you ever forgotten all of your things that made you stressed or worked up in your life and stayed like this before? It feels like you're free from everything, you know?

If you've felt this before, then this is what I feel right now.

After showering, I took a towel and wiped myself until I was fully dried. I wrapped my body with the towel and got out of my bathroom.

I went to my closet and look through to see what I feel like wearing for the night. I decided to wear shirt with shorts. It's really hot and I'm not bothered anyways.

After wearing my clothes, I climbed onto my bed as I put the covers over me. I let out a silent sigh as I stared blankly at the ceiling, thinking about life.

Not long after, my eyelids started to close and I went into darkness.

I shot up from my bed and stayed still for a while. I looked around the place I was at. I realised that I was in a familiar room.

It looked really familiar. Like I've been there before.

I thought about it and when an idea came into my head, my mouth dropped in shock.

I'm still in...Jihoon's slave room?

Why am I back here again? Didn't I escape very long ago?

My heart started to beat faster as I kept looking around in fear. I don't want to be here and never in my life I would want to live in this hellhole.
