Faint chirping of birds, golden rays of sunshine, and dewdrops over green grass. It was a perfect morning for Jay to go out for jog in order to clear his head. He had gotten up at 5 am to do so and he didn't intend on stopping anytime soon.

As he sped up the quickness of his pace, his heart pounded to the beat of his feet racing over the hard ground. Sweat beaded his forehead, causing his hair to cling to it as his throat ached for more air. The rush of wind past his face thrilled him. Whenever he went out jogging he always liked to surrender himself to the miraculous beat of his feet against the ground. It made him feel free, like he could someday live in a world where he never had to worry about anything, a world where he could finally be happy. Jogging on early mornings was the only way he could release all the pent up aggression he harboured inside during the day, it was the only way he could be alone with his thoughts, and he preferred it that way.

But as much as he liked being alone, he hoped that it didn't come to be his reality forever.

A while later, after a quick and energetic run, he arrived down the street to the mansion. He stopped dead in his tracks and removed his earphones from both ears as he spotted Michelle, pulling up in front of the mansion gate with a bicycle.

He watched from afar as she took a deep breath and tied her dreadlocks back into a low ponytail, before slowly moving in his feet in her direction. That hair was one of the things that made her so beautiful. Ever since he dropped her at her apartment and apologised to her the other day, they had managed to be civil with her. Although he hadn't spoken to her on a deeper level yet to understand the type of person that she was, he could always tell what she was thinking about and running through her mind, due to the expression on her face. Michelle was the type of person to keep her mouth shut at all times, especially during tough situations, but her facial expressions revealed everything that she was thinking.

As he slowly approached her from behind, she quickly snapped her head back. Realising that it was only him, she smiled a warm smile whilst staring up at him. Even though Jay and David were completely different from each other, they both had some similarities such as: they were both tall, they both liked jogging and not to mention that they were both attractive.

"Good morning... did you go out jogging again?" she asked, as the drops of sweat slowly slid down the side of his head.

Jay nodded his head briefly, before bringing out the keys from his pocket and going to open the gate. "You're a little late today" he said stepping inside, as she slowly following behind, placing her bicycle in her usual spot further down the compound.

"I know, but my friend Natalie had some problems and needed my help so I got held back a little. I hope your Parents won't mind" she chuckled lightly, whilst reaching her hand up to play with her dreadlocks.

"The girl with the curly red hair?" he asked, going to open the front door, leaving her a little confused and puzzled.

"Yes... how did you know?" she questioned, whilst clinging onto her handbag.

"I saw you two at a bar a couple nights ago" he stated, slipping a hand inside his pocket. "You really should learn to control your drinking, there are a lot of guys there who could've taken advantage of you and your friend" he spoke, whilst gaping down at her. Gosh he really was a lot like his Father with the insanely strong and heavy eye-contact.

Michelle cleared her throat, and snapped her eyes away from his before speaking up. "Boy aren't you 18? how did you get inside that bar?" she questioned, folding her arms across her chest, whilst arching a brow at him. Although he was younger than her by three years, he looked a lot older and acted more maturer too.
