The next morning, Jay headed down the flight of stairs whilst yawning to himself. He ran his fingers through his messy bed hair before narrowing his eyes over to see Michelle sited out the backyard whilst gazing of at the waves swishing back and fourth.
After the incident yesterday and David's sudden outburst at her, he had remained by her side for the rest of the day, not because he had to but because he wanted to. He knew that made his father mad but he could care less. He had never had to compete with his Father for a woman's affection before, and he never thought something as complicated like this would ever happen, I mean its not everyday that a Father and son end up falling for the exact same person, but the way he felt towards Michelle was becoming stronger each and everyday and he knew that he would have to fight through thick and thin, if he really wanted her. This wasn't a game as it may seem, it was real life, and in real life feelings are bound to be hurt and it isn't guaranteed to end well, but that didn't mean he would give up so easily.
He gazed deeply at her before going to sit behind the grand piano across the living room. He then began to play a slow and sweet melody on the keys, with his eyes not leaving her.
Seconds later, Michelle slowly turned her head back to see Jay gaping over at her whilst he play the piano and a smile began to spread across her face. She quickly pulled her skirt down above her knees, before getting up to walk back inside and over to sit beside him behind the piano. It almost felt as if he was playing to her, which he was. Each second that she watched him play, he couldn't help but smile. He wasn't used to smiling so much like this, but he seemed to be doing it a lot recently all because of her.
"You're getting good, you seem more focused this time" she said, adjusting the headscarf on her head before strumming along to a couple keys on the piano, leaving Jay to watch on.
"So you're saying that I wasn't focused the last time?" he questioned, holding a smug look on his face as he gazed down at her.
Michelle chuckled at his question before speaking up; "Oh you were definitely a little off, but this time you seem more relaxed, like you have a reason or a purpose to play the piano" she uttered, looking back up at him.
The way she spoke and the way she could easily look into his soul was all so sexy to him. With the way she thinks you would think that she was much older, but I guess she was just wise and very mature than a lot of other 22 year old's. Seeing as she was only a couple years older than him, Jay often wandered if she ever just saw him like a little brother. He couldn't exactly point out her feelings as he could be confusing her being nice for something else, but he still hoped that deep down she saw him as a man and somehow felt the same way he did.
"About yesterday... I know I've probably said it a million times but I just wanna say thank you again" Michelle uttered, placing one hand down on her lap. "If it weren't for you then I would've drowned. You've been so nice to me ever since and I don't know how to thank you".
As she finished of her sentence, his eyes slowly travelled down to her full plump lips. Oh the things he would do to just get a taste of them. "You can repay me back by playing with me and telling me if I'm messing up on something" he muttered in a low tone, whilst slightly shifting closer to her.
Michelle nodded her head and shot him a wide grin, and with that the two began to play with each other, whilst talking and laughing along the way. It was the closest they've ever been, and Jay desperately didn't want it to end.
5-10 minutes later, David strolled down the flight of stairs to see Michelle and Jay playing the piano together, causing him to run his hand down his face frustratingly and irritatingly.
