Laura's POV
"Happy twenty first birthday Delly!"
Stormie and Mark had thrown a surprise birthday party for Rydel in their family home and had invited Ross, Isabella, Raini, Calum and myself to stay overnight and join in with the celebrations.
Rydel and Ratliff had just walked through the front door when all of her family and friends jumped out from behind the couches to wish her a happy birthday.
"Oh my god, you guys!" Rydel squealed as she ran into her parents arms. "I can't believe you did this for me!"
"Anything for you baby." Stormie cooed before gesturing Rydel over towards Ross and I who were stood with Isabella in our arms. "Look who came!"
Rydel's brown eyes widened and she ran towards Isabella, scooping her into her embrace. "My favourite niece!"
"She's your only niece, Del." Ross chuckled as he linked his hand up in my own. "Happy birthday sis."
"Thank you bro." She replied with a smirk. She turned to face me with Isabella in her arms and pointed towards the kitchen. "Shall we grab a drink?"
I giggled and nodded. "Sure! Ross, what soda do you want?" I asked, following slowly behind Rydel and Isabella.
"Whatever you're having baby." He replied with a smile before turning his attention to his parents who he wrapped up in a hug.
"So." Rydel murmured. Isabella was on her hip and she was rummaging through the fridge for sodas. "Cola? Lemonade?"
"Cola's great." I said with a smile, wrapping my arms around my waist. We were the only three in the kitchen whilst the rest of the guests were in the living room with Ross' family and friends making small talk with one another and eating slices of greasy pizza. "You look beautiful by the way. Is that a new dress?"
Rydel was dressed in a loose fitted baby pink dress that fell down to her knees. Her hair was tied up into a half up, half down ponytail and her eyes were smoky and lined with a black eyeliner. "It's actually one I used to wear before I lost a little bit of my baby fat."
I widened my eyes slightly. "Rydel... you aren't-"
She began to nod and a smirk grew across her lips. I held my hand to my mouth and began to giggle. "No way!"
"Well... I might be."
I let out a quiet gasp and took Isabella into my arms. "Oh my god! You don't know yet?"
"Remember the pact we made?" She reminded me. I nodded frantically. My heart was racing at the news. I wasn't expecting her to become pregnant so soon. "Go give Ross his soda and then meet me upstairs."
With a frantic giggle I snatched Ross' soda off the counter and scurried back into the living room where everyone was talking and chuckling with one another. "Here you go babe! A cola for you." I said with a grin before handing the cold can to him.
Mark tapped me on the shoulder and held his arms open wide. "Can I have some time with my beautiful granddaughter?"
"Of course!" I said with a smile, handing Isabella to Mark. "If she starts to cry just give her some baby biscuits, she's obsessed with them."
